Like delicate raindrops clinging to the precipice, her tears teeter on the edge, threatening to spill over and carve a path down her cheeks. Within those sorrowful eyes, one can witness the struggle of a wounded soul. They are the windows to a heart burdened by the weight of grief, loss, or loneliness. The irises, once bright and vibrant, now seem dim, as if a shadow has enveloped their natural radiance. The sparkle that once danced within them has been replaced by a haunting emptiness.

Lisa questioned looking at me with worried filled eyes, I shook my head I could feel tears began to form in my eyes, I don't even know where exactly in my body is hurting, I just know I am in pain. "Come here" Lisa whispered hugging me and slowly patting my back, I sniffled blinking back the tears "it hurts" I whispered my voice threatening to crack "sorry, please don't cry" Lisa whispered as she slowly continued Patting my back "I won't cry, I can't cry" I whispered a tear escaping my eyes and rolling down my cheek.

Tears falling like an neverending waterfall from my eyes. I didn't have to mindlink my father, he already knewn she was gone by the snapping of the mate bond, letting him known she was dead. The screams I heard from my father that night were sounds you would never think a grown man could make. His screams mirroring that of a banshee, ear piercing cries rang through out the bathroom, bouncing off the silver tile walls.

Her heart sank as she saw the unmistakable second line forming on the test. A small, involuntary whimper escaped her lips as the reality of the situation settled over her like a heavy blanket. The tears that had welled up in her eyes began to fall, one after another, tracing a path down her cheeks. She pressed a hand to her mouth in an attempt to muffle her sobs, her emotions threatening to consume her.

Chapter Two Ava’s POV The house was eerily quiet, except for the soft rustling of my hands as I packed away the last remnants of my past. I stood in Lily’s bedroom, my fingers tracing over the framed picture of my little girl. Her bright smile was frozen in time, her eyes full of the happiness she had always carried. My chest ached, but I couldn’t cry anymore—there were no tears left. No more pain to wipe on. Slowly, I removed the picture from the wall, placing it gently inside the bag I had set aside. The bag was meant for burning. I didn't want to see anymore of it that will bring pain towards me.

My arms and chest were the most difficult thanks to all of the tattoos I've gotten over the years. As I carefully searched my chest, parting my hair to get a good look like one would do to a dog when looking for ticks, I noticed that the dragon on my chest seemed to look like it had large white-green tears coming from it's eyes, almost as if it had been crying and the tears dried on my skin. There were only three of them, but they were there all the same.

He kept the pad of his finger on my cheek and took a drop on his finger pad. “ These tears are very costly. They contain mascara which is a thousand bucks, then eyeliner which is three thousand bucks, then it smudges the costly foundation and other things that are applied on your cheeks, then it has feelings which are priceless. So you see these things make these tears priceless. Next time think before you let them leave your eyes.” A smile made its way to hearing his cheesy words. Seeing my smile, his lips curled in a beautiful smile. He pulled me in his embrace.

I had captured their attention, I could see their sharp eyes staring at me. “Akemi ---” I cut him off. “Stop this nonsense shit of yours, Engineer Dela Costa,” I almost yelled, because I didn’t want to draw any more attention from the people there.. I stopped when I saw tears streaming down his cheeks again. I clapped internally. Wow! He’s getting better! I’m always amazed by how much water comes out of his eyes. What kind of eye drops does he use, that he can cry so much?
