The Second Time

The Second Time

Though this name was highly familiar, neither could she remember who the goddess was. The granny said in time, she might remember, even if she had drunk the soup. Because Goddess Qiwan was the one in control of her memories, even the soup had much lesser of an effect on her memories. But while she was unconscious, she had heard the voice of the goddess, and just by communicating to her through her 'dreams', the goddess had made her recall an uncomfortable memory. What did the goddess aim to achieve by making her remember her death? Everything suddenly felt so confusing.

Alpha:No Second Chance

Alpha:No Second Chance

He hesitated for half a heartbeat before answering. “Kian. Kian Araqiel.” The name struck me like a spark. Araqiel. Araqiel. I blinked, realization dawning. ““Are you… Kian Alpha from Scar Pack?” I’d heard that the Alpha of Scar Pack was a playboy with a weird personality—he changed girlfriends every two weeks. His expression remained calm. “Yes.” My chest tightened. I gave Kian a short nod and stood to leave, but my shirt snagged on the chair leg. I stumbled forward and his hand shot out, catching me before I hit the ground.

Emperor Shadow

Hadi threw the useless remote and grabbed another one. “Take cover. This time, it will be more than the first one.” He didn’t see his people, but he knew that his people would listen to his order. The second remote was thinner than the first one but much more deadly than previously. Press! At the same time, the lord clenched his teeth after receiving the first attack. At first, he was quite confident but, now, he wasn’t. Not after the report he received surely displeased him. “Lord, our barrier spellers took quite a hit.” Qusyairi appeared with full armor, his eyes reflecting chaos.

The Luna Queen's Rebirth

The Luna Queen's Rebirth

I asked. “Both.” He pulled a folded-up piece of paper from the inside pocket of his coat. “The first one’s in the blue glass. Night Root extract. Rarer than it used to be and twice the price, but undetectable after the fact.” He tapped the paper. “Dosing is on there. Read it properly. Too little and it doesn’t finish the job. Too much and it’ll create much more of a mess than you want it to.” I knew that already, of course. I wanted to ask if he thought I was fucking stupid, but bit my tongue and asked instead, “And the second?”

For everyone still reading/just starting: be aware that the “author” is part of the Above Story Studio. It is a ghostwriter(s) who receives outlines that they have to flesh out on a deadline determined by the studio. The studio decides if/when to wrap it up or to just keep going endlessly.

Return of the Luna Queen

Return of the Luna Queen

His claws leaving a deep scratch across his shoulder blade. I looked at him sadly. My eyes welling with tears as I replied. “You are not my Alpha, Drake. I am a Luna Queen.” My message was simple. I out ranked him. His will had no effect on me. I chose to respect him as an Alpha, but I did not need to fulfil his command.

Great to see a recent update. I’m hesitant to start reading in the event updates stop or becomes irregular. I will re-read the first book to refresh my memory. It was a great book which I throughly enjoyed

I love this story but I wanted her to return to Alexander. It's too heartbreaking. No offense about Landon but I don't see why she needs another mate. I doubt Alexander got a second chance mate after she left.

Since quid was a 'space currency' currently its unit value equals 10 USD. Creed always wanted to attend these events, but he never had that much money. Though he still highly doubted if she could really get him inside. He still asked. Much to his expectations, he got the chance to learn from people who were the cream of the crop. After his conversation with Mira ended, he packed all his stuff and left the military quarters. Since he got the legal license from the military, he could leave and enter the glitch whenever he wanted.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

The Lunar Queen's Redemption

The Lunar Queen's Redemption

“Then we’ll pay it back... together. We’ll find a way to reclaim your self, to banish his brand.” Kaelan’s gaze flicked to Mazzareth. “And how do you feel about that, demon?” Mazzareth swept a hand through the flames that still danced around his legs. “The pact is sealed. Your queen has tasted power, and she will never give it up fully.” A distant roar echoed; a clash of metal and horn, the thunder of war on the Citadel’s battlements. Dust rained from the ceiling, forcing Kaelan to shield his eyes. “Selira’s assault,” he growled. “They’re here.”

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

The red light on my tactical console died, replaced by a steady, quiet blue. Silence returned to the basement—stagnant, metallic, and heavy with the smell of burnt circuits. Kael’s voice was a final, peaceful rattle in my skull. “Done… for… now…” I fell to my knees, my breath coming in shallow, jagged sips. My left arm was smoking, the waxy quartz skin now etched with a jagged, crimson-black sigil—the mark of the Second Prime. Leo threw his shivering body against my chest, his stuffy nose wet against my skin.
