Aphrodite Reid, having a name after a Greek Goddess of beauty and love, doesn't exactly make her one of the "it" crowd at school. She's the total opposite of her name, ugly and lonely. After her parents died in a car accident as a child, she tended to hide inside her little box and let people she cared about out of her life.
