I slam the door behind me, leaving Terris inside. Ambling downstairs, I find the beast lounging on the settee with his eyes closed, too calm for my liking, like a lion ready to strike. He always keeps a gun with him, and right now, he is stroking his face from the nose up to his forehead with it repeatedly. His disposed gigantic trunk is heaving up and down from his massive breathing. He doesn't look approachable. I don't think I should talk to him right now. I should probably wait for him to calm down a little, if that is even deemed to happen.

She nodded with her head bent and left the office with a tear stained face. I needed to let him out. It had been a long time since I fed. I could smell the presence of a vampire miles away. He was at the pack's border. He must have gotten here by accident but that doesn't mean I was going to let him live. My beast needed to feed and he was going to be the food. Rules were rules. He should have known that this land was forbidden to him and his kind. I breathed in and let my beast take over. Filled with rage and hunger, he moved with great speed and pounced on the unaware vampire. There was something about him, I could sense it around him.

The beast stood tall, its serpentine tail swinging as it snatched two men into its powerful jaws in one swipe. 'Yeesh, I did not have to see that.' Arlen slapped his hands over his face, too grossed out to think. The third soldier did not get eaten, but he was unlucky- crashing into a rock on his way up. When he sees Luca running toward the beast to help the fourth person, Arlen's feet move without instruction. He stands at the other end and screams at the top of his lungs, "HEY BOY, AIN'T YA HUNGRY? IM VERY JUICY!"

He goes to grab me, and my beast jumps, kicking off his chest and flipping back away from him in front of my pack. I look at all the guys as my beast relaxes, giving me back my control. One has blood all over the front of his shirt from his nose, which is now healed. His hair hangs loose with curls down to his midsection. One has dirt and ash all over the front of his shirt. His hair is shorter all around but is slightly longer on top; it is neatly styled to be a little messy. The third has buzzed sides fading up to hair that is spiked up messily, but it suits him. A man angrily threw his glass to the ground in anger. "They said if we want to take those two disciples, we have to give them something commensurate with the loss of life from their city." On the island, a woman stood up angrily after saying her words. The thing that stirred up the central continent had also reached their ears, the beast sect. A sect that specialised in controlling demonic beasts or demonic monsters. The man sitting on the chair with two horns at the end of the sides of the chair was a beast sect master who was at the first level of the heavenly king realm. Even so, he was said to have beasts at the level of a fifth-level heavenly king.

He then crouched on the ground and soon the sound of bones cracking echoed as the man morphed into a deadly beast. Just as Aiden had ventured into a strange and dangerous land for his own gains, there was another who was doing the same. This person was a smallish old man who was slightly bent over a thin black cane. On his left hand were several ornaments; for each finger was adorned with a silver ring. He had short black hair with streaks of gray running through it. This man was one that was regarded as the most shrewd of the enemies that the Beastmen had to face. He wasn’t the strongest enemy there was, but if one asked any of the Beast Elders who they’d rather not face, they would mention this man’s name. This man was Elder Sand.

When he said my name, I fell to my knees, knowing that I had gone insane with hunger and blood loss. “Surely I have gone mad! I am under the illusion that a beast is speaking to me! Ah, God, please take me now; I am ready!” I cried out and fell to my knees. But it is what happened next that made me swallow my words; the beast transformed, and in its place stood a tall man with long blonde hair that was so light it nearly looked white. He was as naked as the day he was born, with a body built for war and looked powerful.

I uttered and the beastman came to a halt, revealing himself. “You dare to say I stink!” He growled, red streaks forming in his already red eye balls. It was a Kangaroo beastman, he stood six feet tall with bulging muscles. He snarled, revealing a set of sharp, irregular teeth. And strangely, he had a pouch, male Kangaroos do not have pouches. His unusually red eyes showed that he was a rogue. If he had a pouch, this might mean that he had mutated but how? The last time I checked, things were going perfectly fine in the beastmen pack, there were no pandemics nor diseases that could cause a mutation.
