Lilith sat cross-legged on her bed, engrossed in the pages of a captivating book. Her face was buried within its depths as she lost herself in the world of words. The room was quiet, save for the rustling of pages and the occasional sound of her breath. Suddenly, a gust of wind whistled through the room, causing the curtains to billow and dance. Lith looked up, her eyes widening in surprise, as the window that had always been locked swung open with a creak. The wind seemed to beckon her, inviting her to embrace the unknown that lay beyond.

* My power coiled itself inside me as I read more and more myths on the infamous Northern Whispers as I sat in the bay window which housed itself in the quiet library; one of the only places I could go to finally be alone and nestled in between the pages of a book made everything feel even better. My baby seemed to sense my hand as it gently kicked, both Cassandra and I smiling with such glee that my face almost hurt and while my brain started to wander off in daydreams about having a child, something passed by the window so quick that I almost questioned myself if it was real or not.

" The librarian asked, his eyes curiosly studying me like I was carrying a bomb in my stomach. "You saw me getting out, no! I didn't get out since i came in this is my first time, you saw someone not me" i said but he didn't seem to believe me at all, his eyes were still on me, he couldn't even excuse himself with a blink. "No kid you can't lie to me, i saw you getting out first and then few minutes later you are coming out again? , just tell me how is this possible" he said and grabbed my hand."did you get in through the window?".

ELORA Gentle sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains framing my bedroom window alerting me that morning had come and I had been up all night. I had tossed and turned unable to ease my mind enough to sleep, anxiety a fearsome wind billowing in my gut as I thought of resuming my duties in the King’s library.

At the bookshelf and the window and the city beyond it. See it through, Rachel had said. All the way. For both of us. I will, I thought. I promise.

The window is the correspondence between the inside and the outside before anyone has arrived. He put the letter down. He thought about the window working in both directions. He thought about the east window at forty centimetres as the window the sea children looked through and the window the arriving children looked through in the opposite direction — the room visible from the field, the room presenting itself to the children who were coming to it. Anthony POV The illuminate sun escape into the room shinning through the window, bringing a look of warmness and comfort into the room. The books neatly kept in the shelves and the silence so eloquent, every thing just seemed well with the world. I took a deep breath enjoying the fresh morning breeze that came from the trees along the window side. Everything about the library brought peace and relief to me, it almost seemed like I was in another world. I came here,when I needed peace which means every day and when I want to be focus and I just need to relax and sit down behind the perfectly designed wooden chairbeside the fire place,

I swore to the Lord that I would repent but, I just couldn’t deny myself of this. Perched on my small but cozy wooden bed, engulfed in the soft folds of my thin but warm blankets, I let myself be completely engrossed into the book. The only noise that I let out were the occasional gasps and giggles that came out after getting excited by what the characters were up to. I was so oblivious to the world outside my book, that the whoosh from the window being opened passed by me. It was only when the gust of wind blasted into my room, tousling the littles strands of hair that had escaped from my bonnet in the process and sending the pages in my book fluttering, did I know that something was wrong.
