Abraham let out a small breath, thinking back through it carefully.
“I’m not completely sure,” he admitted. “At the start there was this statue, and when I sat on it, it moved a bit, just enough to notice, and then there was this creature there that looked hurt, so I healed it instead of attacking it.”
Riley didn’t interrupt, letting him lay it out in his own way.
“And then?” he prompted.
“I walked past a load of weapons,” Abraham continued, “and there was this massive tree at the end, bigger than anything else around it, and it gave me four options. I didn’t really think about it, I just picked the one that looked like a flower.”
