I groan internally. My name is Mariah Cruz. I'm 17 years old and starting my junior year today. My Father, Mark Cruz, is the current Beta of our pack, The Royal Moon Pack, and my mother, Jennifer Diaz, is the Beta female. My Brother Josh Cruz is 18 years old and a senior in High School. He is training to become the next Beta when our Alpha, Jason Adams, decides to retire and hand the title to his eldest son, Nick Adams. Nick is 18 and is also a senior in high school. He is also my brother's best friend.

I shuttered as I replied hurriedly. "That settles it, Welcome to the Wild Crest Pack, Evelyn." The Alpha smiled as he looked at me. "Thank you very much, Alpha," I said, trying to force myself to bow, but I was too weak to do anything. I stumbled back to the floor when I tried to get up. "Evelyn, there's no need for you to thank me, I can see that you've been through enough." The Alpha smiled as he stood up from his seat walking slowly towards me.

My brother is undeniably handsome, resembling our father, but he rarely smiles and carries a tough demeanour. Aeron, on the other hand, is very handsome but looks unhinged. His thick dark hair and dark eyes would have been pleasant to look at if his eyes weren't so cold all the time. Aeron had the height and the build. He was bulky and very intimidating to look at but downright dangerous and cold. Did I mention he was arrogant, too, and regarded me as a little girl? I hated him. I could see my appeal about Trevor. He was a breath of fresh air, normal, playful, and I liked it.
