Vador sighed as Aleister entered the study. "Call Alizon," Aleister said."Call her now" "Yes? You called for me,"a lady in white appeared.She had a white mark running from her hair down to her forehead,her hair was black. Alizon was a white witch,she was also Vador's godmother who stayed in the east empire disguised as an old lady.She was King Alarie's younger sister who was not killed when the dark witches had attacked because they didn't know about her. Only Vador and Aleister knew about her,she was a very powerful witch with healing powers and the ability to summon souls.

I looked up at him and let myself believe it, just for a breath. Damien Cross stood above me on the raised stone platform, moonlight carving hard lines down the side of his jaw, his eyes gone the color of amber caught too close to a flame. My mate. My Alpha. The same boy who used to press stolen honeycomb into my palm before pack politics taught him to measure every single word before it left his mouth. He wasn't measuring anything now. He wasn't saying anything at all, and the not-saying went on a beat too long.

All around her were old, detailed images of Hell hounds painted on the damaged walls. Typical narcissistic bastards. That was one of the traits she despised the most among others. Allie took her time to study their omega image, and immediately her mouth twisted at that. The picture depicted an omega with their ears back, submitting to what looked like an Alpha Hell hound with a snarling muzzle and fiery eyes glowing in the dark. She rolled her eyes. As a father, don't you have any compassion?!” “Compassion?!” Alastor laughed even louder. “He's not my child! Compassion? (spits out harshly) Don't be ridiculous. That child will threaten my throne!” Ben stared silently at Alastor. Alastor was overcome with anger, envy, and jealousy. He couldn't be persuaded by anything. He wondered how he could reach Cyrus. Even though he was a wizard, werewolves possessed incredible strength and speed. He would be caught before he could reach Cyrus. Dal moved forward, but Ben blocked him.

I had so many things to do, and none of them involved listening to Sylvie’s shrieks on loop. After that no more families came to foster her. "Hellooooooo...." Mandi waved her hand in front of Ally's far off stare. Snapping back to the present, Alyssa saw the green eyes that belong to the tall, auburn hair, annoyingly happy orphan, that was looking at her with such concern. "Happy Birthday, Ally cat." Mandi smiled as she turned to rummage through Alyssa's dresser. "It's your eighteenth birthday how do you feel? Any different?" She almost cooed.

If only the lady knew that any eighteen year old werewolf would do that comfortably. The lady wasn't alone. In the back of the car was a little boy, seven or eight years at most. He was playing a game on his tablet, it had all of his attention. “You like the game, right? What's the name?” The boy looked up and smiled. “Yes, it's really fun, it's called Butter Slap.” “What happens in the game? You slap people on the face with butter?" To my surprise, the boy nodded in agreement. “Yes! You have played it before? What level did you get to? I doubt you went beyond level seven, half my class didn't go beyond level five.”

I looked back at the helicopter circling in the night sky, wearing a confident smile. "Compared to being a Luna, you seem more confident and charming as an Alpha."

I said the last part, remembering how Vallery’s eyes glowed as she said it plain and simply he would never choose me. “I can’t accept that.” His voice was calm at first till he started shaking his head, hyperventilating just a bit. “You can’t, you will not!! I will not allow you to…” His voice started to get darker by the minute before someone came out from the fog. “Alphaa… Lets go” He looked around the same height and had the same physical features as Ronan, looking around before he looked back at Ronan who was still hyperventilating.

Balanced just like her voice was still echoing inside my chest. The memory of her face when she whispered the name kept replaying itself and my beast replayed it a hundred times louder.
