” she mumbles, holding him tight. ”I missed you too, sis” Xander says, hugging her back. ”Celine, I want you to meet Alex. It would be nice if Lexi and Sienna fought each other. Sienna never bullied me, but Lexi was a pain in my neck. At nearly six feet tall and with an athletic build, she was both strong and beautiful. Seeing weak people made her crave sadism. If it weren’t for Benji constantly defending me, I would have been beaten to a pulp several times by her. If I had to pick sides, I’d still choose Team Lexi because Sienna was Alpha Kayden's girlfriend, and watching her get her ass kicked would be satisfying.

~ALEXIS~ "Lexi is there a day you're never late?" Saffron drew me closer to her, with her hand around my shoulder. "Considering you're here with me, I'll assume you're late too." I told her. “So, are you and my son dating?” I slam my hand down on the steering wheel and glare at her in the review mirror. “Mom.” She scowls at me, scratching the crease of her arm. “Calm down, Cade. It was just a question—that you didn’t answer.” “No,” Jaden says from the passenger seat. Her neck is inclined just enough to show my mom that she’s looking at her. “We’re not dating. Just roommates and co-workers. Nothing more.” She whips her head back around without a glance in my direction.

I teased. " Yeah, thanks, but that's not funny at all. I can't believe I have to babysit a stubborn pet like her. " She hissed. " But at least she is still cool, right? " " Yeah, a little. " " Where's Alpha Kaden? " She asked. " He left for an important meeting few minutes ago. Come on, let's go inside.
