BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

Until she noticed Nomo's expression of cold, wide-eyed terror. "What in the Elder's name?" Nomo whispered, looking about as this blue light rapidly diffused through the scattered fissures in the ancient stone until the entire center slab shone as luminous as a lighthouse beam. This light did not stop illuminating the concentric rings that surrounded it; instead, it shone with a brilliance that could be seen through the scattered brush, and this light did not stop either. When it reached the outer ring, it diffused through spiderweb fractals on the earthy soil as if this light were seeping through scattered fissures and ley lines on the earth. And when it reached the surrounding treetops, thi

The Entangled Fate

The Entangled Fate

Rena stared blankly at the door into the mountain. " They are not gathering fruit, Rena. They are not fishing. They are not doing anything like that. But those wires that come into the houses, the ones that make the light so we can see at night? It all comes out of here. What is in there and how the light is generated, I don't know.

Chasing the Fading Light

Chasing the Fading Light

I don’t remember the elevator ride down. I know I must’ve taken it, because one second I was standing outside a door that had just closed in my face, and the next I was out on the pavement, cold air biting at skin I hadn’t even realized had gone numb. Let's pretend this never happened. Let's never contact each other again. I kept repeating the words in my head, over and over, hoping that eventually they’d make sense. They never did.

Doing me to the fullest

Doing me to the fullest

Kael had memorized the words until they were etched into his soul: "A world without friction is a world that eventually stops turning. If the peace becomes a cage, break the glass. If the light becomes so bright that you can no longer see the shadows, remember that growth only happens in the dark. Do not be afraid of the fire; be afraid of a light that never changes." Kael lifted the vial. It didn't glow with the calm, rhythmic pulse of the modern cities. It flickered. It was a violent, jagged silver—a liquid lightning that seemed to fight against the glass walls of its container.

The Supernatural Professor - The Jungle

The Supernatural Professor - The Jungle

I took out my torch and shone it into a spot afar. “It’s like the principles of light. You shine it on a spot, and you can see it. Turn off the light, you don’t see it. The objects are still there regardless of the light. However, the key lies in finding the right light. The ability to cast that light requires cultivation and practice. ” “So the boys are still in this forest, we just can’t see them?” Lieutenant Razali asked. “Is that what you are saying, Professor?” I nodded. Most likely.

Wretched Self

Wretched Self

For us not to be disappointed, let us stop imagining things that will never happen. I subtly let out a small and light sigh before I looked up the stars. They were twinkling, and they look so happy the way they shines. Everyone of them were apart, that they have quite far distance. And that just means that we can shine alone. That we all do not have a companion to see the light and be the light. It will be our choice if we chooses to be the source of light to whom who only see darkness.

I then began to recite the words, and happily I heard the others doing so, too. “Moon goddess, shine your light down from up high and highlight the place that I wish to seek.” I began repeating the words over and over and then suddenly there was this bright, sparklingly beautiful light and I almost opened my eyes to shield myself from it. But I held them closed, knowing it would break the spell. To see what you couldn’t see, you must first not see what you could see.

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

“How do we get rid of it?” Becca asked. “Light,” Kay answered. “Of course,” Becca breathed. “If there’s light, there’s no darkness.” “But if there’s darkness, there’s no light,” Luis stated. “There will always be one or the other. But as long as we hold the light in our hearts, it can’t hurt us. If it can’t hurt us, it will disperse. We would be too strong for it,” Kay explained.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.

The Light To His Darkness

The Light To His Darkness

It could have been a trick of the light or something. "Say something, Luna!" Little tears dropped from his eyes, his beautiful eyes but I couldn't see past the hate. Something was wrong but I was too drowsy to think clearly or offer my mate a reply. At last, I was pulled into darkness and the sounds around me slowly waned. The last thing I heard was Asher calling me the pet name he gave to me. Deliciae.

The Kingdom of Light

The Kingdom of Light

“Which means?” I took a sip of wine, shrugging my shoulders. “It means what I said, that they understand me. I can’t explain it properly.” I took a step closer before I pointed towards them. “Try and look up.” He did as I told him, looking up at the sky. “The night sky has always fascinated me; it’s honest, it’s straightforward, it is as it is. It is in balance.” Our gazes met, and I felt nothing but his full attention locked on me. “There’s always light in the darkness, just as there is darkness in the light.”
