' Lucia asked. 'It sure did,' the Alpha said looking at Maureen as if he had seen the sixth wonder. Maureen didn't bother putting her wig on again. The golden hair was on full display and I couldn't help but run my hand through it. 'I think you should put on your shirt Alpha,' Dawn said as she turned her eyes away from looking at him. 'Don't call me Alpha. You are my mate. My name is Asher. Call me Asher,' Alpha Asher said looking at Dawn intently.

"Honestly shout. It could add some personality to you.” I slipped past her into the room. Sunlight streamed through the drapes illuminating the dust floating in the air. I put on my jeans and a tank top, my mind wandering back, to places I earnestly wanted to escape. Asher. My stomach tightened. Simply saying his name felt like inviting turmoil to flood my veins. He was my brother’s ally, the Alpha of the IronClaw pack a figure whose presence made enemies hesitate and inspired wolves to rise with pride. Command draped in leather. Determination. Scars carved from endurance. Every part of him was designed to command.

"See? Perfectly safe." I do not touch the food. "What do you want?" "To talk. To help you understand why this is happening. Why your father's choices led to this moment." He sets down his fork. "Alexander Reed was my friend once. Did you know that?" The name makes my chest tight. "No." "We grew up together. Trained together. Fought side by side for years." Asher's eyes go distant. "He was the best of us. Strong. Fair. Honorable. Everything an Alpha should be."

He said with a soft smile as he took his wife’s hand gently and caressed it. “He’s right hunny.” The Luna says and Runa only smiled and nodded. A man stepped out, stood at least five-six, and looked young. “This is Alex, he’s unmated and is a very excellent fighter. If anything happens,” he paused before glancing to Alpha Ace, “Report to us and keep her safe.” “Of course Alpha,” Alex said, crouching down to get bags and placing them in the car that awaited her. She grimaced a bit before giving her farewells to her friends, Sierra and Milo, and her pups she trained for years.

Alpha Ryker was sitting on his chair in front of his desk, reading through some papers. “Ezio” Alpha Ryker said, nodding at me. He looked up at me then looked down at the papers again. I looked at Miley who shook her head, shrugging her shoulders as she didn’t know what annoyed the Alpha. Whatever it was, the Alpha kept his eyes fixed on the papers for a few seconds, raising his head to look at us.

Aaron and his brother were camped out just outside the pack. Well hidden by the trees and bushes surrounding them. The alpha, Aaron's dad lay on the ground still out of it. It was clear he was in a lot of pain but he was sleeping, forcing his wolf to heal him. Aaron was huffing and puffing, complaining to his brother, who seemed not so interested in Aaron's blabber. No, bigger and worse Aaron was more worried about their dad. It is clear that he is as very fond of his dad, and probably also the favorite son seeing as he became alpha and Aaron was sent here to take over if Damian couldn't.

He was sending message to his only friend, Adom. The most delectable, earth-shattering scent worked its way through Ash foggy brain as she took deep breaths. The scent of apples and jasmine and a beautiful base note of roses all accented by the most perfect scent of Alpha he had ever had the pleasure of smelling invaded hid lungs. Alpha, the scent of Alpha. His Alpha! "MY ALPHA" she barked out as the realisation hit him like one of those new steam trains. She sat bolt upright as his eyes sprang open, which was a mistake, not the biggest one he had made today, admittedly, but bad enough. He slumped back onto the sofa as a wave of dizziness overtook him.

Connor had almost given up when Josh finally took a gasping breath and the blue colour started to reside from his lips, a more healthy colour returning to his face. "Fuck Josh, I thought I lost you there". Connor pulled his legs up and put his arms around his knees or the left arm because the right arm wouldn't work and he couldn't hold back the tears. He knew an alpha is not supposed to cry, but Firstly he wasn’t sure he could be considered an alpha any longer, without his wolf… and secondly, right now he didn’t care.

I said. “How do you take this all the time?” he asked. “When I remember I can't do anything without it. However, now, I can take it as easily as it comes. Alpha Asher helped sweeten it,” I said before I could stop myself. “Alpha Asher?” his brow propped up. I nodded. “Why would he do that?” he asked and I shrugged. “You’re hiding something from me,” he added. “And if I am?” I asked. He gulped down the contents of the bowl, placing it down with his face squeezed. “They aren't easy to please, Kaelen. Alpha Asher might be sweet on the surface but he is not. He is just as ruthless as his brothers,” he
