“Good day, Alpha.” Fagel greeted, his head was bowed in respect. The Alpha shot daggers at him with his eyes, then he swept his heated gaze to me. It took all of my will not to tremble beneath his stare. My heart pounded viciously, my stomach churned nervously — I almost felt like throwing up Fagel’s food. I could not maintain gaze with him, so I had to lower my head. Not in respect like Fagel, but in fear.

“So you need the day off to figure out how to get over your fear and accept your new… reality? Is that what we are calling it?” “More or less.” “I don’t think running the perimeter of the compound is going to do much for you, but I can help. Let’s go.” “Where are we going?” “The gym. You’ll love it.” The gym is packed full of wolves and reeks of sweat. I could hear faint groans of disappointments but I didn’t care.

Alpha Alexander's private gym was more like an upscale fitness club than a basement setup. The walls were lined with mirrors, and the floor was made of spongy, rubbery material. His dumbbell selection would make Schwarzenegger proud. "Take off your clothes," he said with stern professionalism. "I need to see what I'm working with."

He came closer to me looking square to square in my eyes. “Is it right to badge in while I address my people?” I growled. “It depends on what you are addressing,” he smirked. “You are not the Alpha yet, you don't have the right to adjoin such a meeting and threaten your people this way,” As he spoke, the people began to whisper, agreeing with him. “Whether I am the Alpha now or not, I will be that Alpha next month, And if you are not scared for your life, I dare you to go against my statement,” I looked from right to left with a straight face.

I’m just moving on from Rachel. “So, where were we before your idiot mate interrupted us again?” I asked to change the atmosphere between us. She blinked. I looked away. What a seductress. “Right,” she rested her chin on her palms. “The Alpha Games. The Alphas here are kind of on training for that event. It’s like a survival of the fittest inside an arena. Whoever beats everyone, is the strongest. They’re here because our pack sponsored a training camp for them since Felix was the last champion of that event. It’s actually a great way to strengthen connections too and well, find your…mate.”

Alex looked over to where Ash was looking and saw four people. One was a long, black-haired female with good style who looked older and clearly was an alpha. And an arm was wrapped around her by a man who is clearly his mate, and he is also Alpha. Next to them was a boy who was like a teenager's kid and was also an Alpha. He was holding hands with a pretty lady with brown, shaggy hair and glasses. She was a beta. He saw the four of them make their way towards a table. Alex looked over at Ash and grabbed his hand gently as he led them to the table his siblings were at with their drinks in their free hands.
