I will have the deep cleaning area prepped for you momentarily.” Janice bowed and walked out of the room. “I know you don’t want to, but please take it easy for the next few hours.” Alexander warned gently. Denice nodded and walked out of the room with Alexander behind her. They walked down the hall and made it to the deep cleaning area of the Alpha wing. They were then decontaminated and deep cleaned from head to toe. Afterwards, they made their way to the packhouse.

“I’m not the one who decided this. But it’s the Alpha’s order.” My pulse slammed against my ribs. “Wh–what order?” She let out a small breath, almost pitying, but not soft enough to ease the dread crawling up my spine. “He wants this entire storage room cleaned. Every inch of it. Organized. Floors scrubbed. Shelves cleared. Everything.” She paused, and the weight of her next words nearly crushed the air out of me. “And he wants it done within thirty minutes.”

Sunshine is streaming in through the wide window of Alpha's room where I am currently, a soft light on the white walls around me, illuminating the room with a golden glow that reflected the sunlight that filtered through the sheer curtain at either side of the bed. With that pretty disturbance of sun, I stood up from the bed and stretched, a yawn escaping my lips before I turned to get dressed into something appropriate for the day. Alpha is not here and is undoubtedly occupied doing something outside.
