An ancient ally she had never fully trusted. “I owe you a choice,” Alaric said, eyes glowing with hidden power. “And tonight, you will take it. Align—or fall.” Aria studied him. “I would’ve cut Alpha Garson’s head off for you and Reeve.” He pauses before adding quietly, “Did you know your brother and I were close friends?” I shake my head. “Reeve never mentioned that.” “Of course he didn’t.
