Alpha Matthew asked him. Jamien sighed. “I suppose it doesn’t matter.” When we were in a conversation, the loud beeping surprised us. Jamien growled in anger then hit the red button. I was startled when a giant creature suddenly popped out of a doorway. “It’s the f*cking rat again? I need to set a trap to get these f*cking rats off our land, Alpha Matthew,” Jamien said. “They only eat the leaves. They never eat the tubers. It’s very unnatural, Jamien,” Alpha Matthew said.

A laugh escaped Lexy’s lips. “I am being serious,” Alpha said. Lexy just shook her head “I don’t think you have it in ya,” she said. “Hmmm, I think ten pieces would be enough, I’d leave your head intact for the wild animals to feast upon, how about that you like that number?” Alpha asked her in not so serious tone. “HaHaHa… oh please don’t make me laugh, you wolves are dumb as fuck and slow as a what….. I don’t know slow as a fuck too,” Lexy said. “You have to catch me first,” she smiled at him, her sharp fangs lit up.

Without hesitation, I kicked him where the sun does not shine. He cursed loudly while groaning in pain. “You fucking lady!” he shouted. “You deserve it, jerk!” I shouted back. “Just come with us, Miss,” someone said calmly. I glanced at him. “Why would I?” I asked. “Because if our alpha comes here himself, I am sure he will kill you,” he replied calmly, though the seriousness in his voice was undeniable. Oh, how scary, I thought sarcastically. “And what the hell is an alpha?” I demanded. “A murderer? A notorious criminal? Your leader? A mafia boss?”

Every time he becomes upset, his eyes do that, so I always know when I have gotten to him. “Alright, alright. Anyway, I need to get dressed. What is it exactly that couldn’t wait?” I ask absentmindedly as I shuffle around and try to find the pair of comfy jeans that I laid down a couple of days
