In two strides he reached them and pulled Elric into a hug, thumping his back with his giant fist. "August, good to see you," Elric said formally to the man, who was now smiling down at Saffron. He was taller than Elric and looked nearly identical to their father, except his eyes were a warm brown. His face was open and friendly. Unlike Elric, his hair was kept shorter, the curls more intentionally arranged around his handsome visage. "This is my fiancée, Saffron," Elric said. Saffron dipped into a small curtsy. August grabbed her hand and kissed it. She noticed he lacked the roughness of Elric, his hands and face smooth.

"Thank you for the offer. Until then, there are some questions I need to ask you." "Ask away." Alpha Rylan nodded, pushing the sleeves of his white button down up to his elbows. "We were told you suffered an attack a few weeks ago, a creature from the Fae realm." I began, "Any details about this creature would be appreciated, and I would also like to know how you killed the beast." "According to the wonder of the Internet, the creature was a Manticore." Alpha Rylan grimaced, "It's basically a Lion with the tail of a scorpion. The venom alone killed a few of my men."

"This company has been in my family for decades I can't just give you ten percent like that, that's not a fair trade" said my father "Alpha Eric it's either that or you can leave, that's our conditions, and we stand by them" said alpha Cedric "These rogues are not only our problem but yours too, if we work together, we can get rid of the attacks forever" my father alpha Eric said I felt a hand on my thigh going up, and I looked at Adam, and he had no expression on his face like what he was doing, was not fucking turning me on and affecting him also!

His half-shifted form radiated hostility, his claws glinting in the fading light. "Go back there right now! Get on your knees and apologize to Aunt Valerie and her family!" For a moment, I didn't know how the child born from my own body had become this. He used to cry over injured birds. He used to tuck me in when I was sick. It clawed down my throat, burning slightly as it went. I didn’t flinch. I didn’t make a sound. I’d learned long ago that showing weakness only made things worse.

Alphonse had lived however life tossed him. He grew up as an orphan in the Moonblood pack. Apparently, his parents were strong and important members of the pack and the previous Alpha before Jason took him in and trained him to grow as his gamma. Unfortunately, Jason took over and became the next Alpha of the moonblood pack so that never happened. However, seeing his potential, Jason made him one of his gammas alongside Terry and Igor. Thereafter, Alphonse had pretty much no other identity other than being Jason's gamma until recently, when he couldn't stand Jason's outrageous actions anymore. However, even that was as a result of Sam's instigation.

Eric shares with my parents. My mother gasps as my father frowns, “Who wants her dead?” he asks. Eric explains we do not know and the encounter we just had with the rogues. My father looks at us in silence. He looks away and only as something seems to register on his face does he look back to me, “Calvin … the hybrid Alpha Warlock,” he whispers.

My voice comes out echoey and distorted, muffled by the snarls and snaps of teeth, claw and body colliding. My body starts to shake violently, my bones breaking and reforming but my eyes never leave my target as he fights against a large brown wolf I now recognise as Abaddon's. I dig my newly formed claws into the dirt, feeling the strength of Onyx's form rushing back to me. "It's been too long." She grumbles, but we don't have time for pleasantries, Eligor is already overpowering Abaddon and it would be easier for us if he was still distracted.
