Airen's POV He was here. He was here and looking at me as though I would disappear with just the slightest movement. Rachel had introduced him as "Alpha". I knew that he wasn't human, that he was a werewolf, but an Alpha? I had no clue. And life had just gotten far more complicated. "Ms. Rachel?" I turned to see one of Rachel's ranch hands, Davis, standing by the back door. "Yes?" Rachel turned to face him as well.

"Hello?" the young man replied in the same questioning tone. The first thing she noticed about him was his scent. He was powerful. Not an Alpha but almost as strong. A Beta most likely. The second thing was the shape of his lips—top heavy and downturned. He looked like a young Johnny Depp. Young Johnny Depp was an obsession of Scarlett's. She would watch his films on repeat, despite being terrified of Freddy Krueger. The guy on her doorstep had lighter hair, and his brown eyes had flecks of green, but there was a strong resemblance.

All of a sudden, Jason rushed forward in a charge and pushed Alphonse towards the car in the back. Thump! Crash! The latter's heavy body crashed on the car's windscreen as he fell on his back, " uwww!!" He howled as broken glass shards pierced his back severely. He couldn't help but shift into his human form for better mobility. However, before he could even do anything, Jason had pounced on him on the car, causing the tires to instantly deflate from the heavy weights on it. " You should have stayed in the city, weak boy!" Jason said in a hoarse cold voice with his feet pressing down on Alphonse's chest while pinning the latter beneath him.

Damon attempted to explain. "Who is she?" Albert inquired. Damon opened his mouth after a one-minute pause, "My mate!" Albert was taken aback and couldn't believe what he was hearing. Their potential alpha Damon, the powerful king's son, the king who risked his life to build his pack, had a human mate. Thier future alpha's mate was a human known for their frailty and weakness in the werewolf world. Albert could see how much his friend yearned for his mate, so he avoided being rude and instead asked one question, "Do you love her?"

Why did we leave her? Ren clenched his fists, his jaw tightening as he pushed the wolf’s complaints aside. Because it’s complicated, he replied silently. She wasn’t entirely human - his wolf had felt it - but her connection to the supernatural world was faint, as though hidden beneath layers of humanity. The bond between them was undeniable, but the implications were enormous. A human mate, even a partially wolf one, was a complication he couldn’t afford as Alpha. “Ren.” The familiar voice of his beta, Kael, broke through his thoughts. Ren glanced up to find Kael leaning casually against the gate, his sharp eyes studying him intently.

She sits there in her seat in quiet contemplation before turning her knowing eyes in my direction as if sensing that I have already figured out the riddle of the prophecy. “A wolf can not be made without being bitten by their mate.” At the sound of my voice, all eyes turn in my direction. “The Alpha wolf’s mate is a human isn’t she?” Understanding dawns on the faces in front of me, with only Beta Charles wearing a look of utter confusion, as usual.

he kept asking while his hands shoke like he just saw a dead wolf come back to life. "You see what I told you, she is not safe. Not even in the hands of the doctor you trust, humans aren't one of us Kael" my wolf whispered with sadness in his voice. Deep down, I knew he wished she wasn't human, looks like we both have fallen for her but he couldn't admit it. "This is not right, I'm not touching her, I'm not treating her, you have to take her back. She has to leave or I kill her myself!"

"I’ll come visit you in the morning." Not waiting for a response, I get up and give Alphonze one more look, taking in all the machines attached to him and the scarred skin that is exposed past the shirt and pants that he wears. He was nothing more than a husk of the powerful alpha he once was, and he was like this because of them.

He had been beaten both in his human form and Wolf form. Mike stood over him, still in his wolf form, his glowing silver eyes glinting in them. A deep, thunderous growl rumbled from his chest as he bared his fangs and transformed back into a human, his clothes turned and he stood half naked, most of his torso exposed. The fight was over. Alpha Mike stood victorious, his chest heaving, his knuckles covered in blood. Alpha Alfred, the son of the Lycan King, lay in a battered heap, his body covered in bruises and gashes.

she says between sobs. “Oh Athena, you should have accepted my proposal in the first place. I would we'd you and take good care of you. Then none of this would've happened. But what did you do? you decide to go after a mere human.” He says, his voice laced with so much hatred. “And then you decided to kill him?” Athena says, heart clenching in sorrow. “He never would've survived being an Alpha anyway. Humans are weak, pathetic beings. They do not deserve to be with wolves. I only did him a favor.” He said, grinning mischievously. Athena's heart breaks all over again from agony.
