I smiled at her thought process. “We are here!” Jamira turned around as Alsie came to a stop. “Are you ready Alsie?” She yelled. Alsie nayed. “Rex Lucifer, Portas Aperire Ad Regnum Tuum!” Jamira spoke the Latin words for ‘King Lucifer, open the gates to your kingdom.’ Sounds of people screaming, and moaning in pain filled the cave. Steam rose from the ground. I gripped Sanguinex hand. I had never seen or heard this part of hell. Alsie started to move as red lights filled the cave. The darkness faded. I looked out the side of the carriage, and saw the dark sun.

I voiced out, my heart trembling. “You won’t… They can’t capture you… Alysia you’re beyond this little frame… You’re the girl the moon goddess blessed with healing abilities… You’re the girl who saved the Luna, you’re the girl who rescued Victoria… I can go on and on for hours, telling you of what you are….” She explained calmly and I wiped my tears slowly. Her words made me feel extremely proud of myself… I was beyond a little maid who was fated to the Alpha.

"If they found out, then they would do whatever it took to capture me and use me." Frowning, I let her words hit me as I continue to process this change of events. Ayla’s blood had healing properties. She could work miracles that even modern medicine couldn’t achieve, yet Silas was keeping all of this a secret from the rest of the world. "You could help so many," I announce before I even realize what I’m saying. "All those who are sick and dying could be cured, but you’re keeping it to yourself?" I knew what I was saying was accusatory, but I couldn’t help the way I felt. How could she sit there knowing this and not do a thing? Especially when she was getting closer to Alphonze?

Taking a deep breath, she placed her palm over her heart. A silver light began to form at the spot she touched and a sharp pain ran through her heart. She winced but did not give up. Slowly and steadily, she pulled out a silvery orb which was the size of her palm. A medium sized pearl lay in her hand, shining under the stars. She placed the pearl on his heart and pushed it. “I, Alya, am seeking the blessings of the sea,” she chanted. “Please save the life of the man I have chosen as my mate.”

He paused and shot a shrewd look in their direction, “You need more time don't you?” “The mission has a complication,” Aurelia said in a weak tone. The cracked lips of Gael curved upward, “Do tell.” Over the next few minutes, Aurelia and Zinjo explained the situation and the divine creature. “I've heard of the creature, the people of the golden sands call them Al' Miraj. They are divine creatures, but vicious, unforgiving, and exceptional with magic. I wish you all the luck in the world, just remember there are gentler divine beings in the world, or so I've heard.”

She asked, looking up at the moon. “Yes, I can.” “Then you know why you have to do this tonight.
