I quickly move behind her to hold her steady; it is clear she is exhausted from what she did to help Alana. "What did she do?" Milton told me some women worship Aylarra.” Ayla said. “The amulet that let us enter was given to me by my mother, and it has been handed down from mother to daughter in my family. The aquamarine was the goddess’s favorite stone.”

Morgana explained with a sad smile on her face. I wondered why she looked sad despite the smile. Her smile didn't reach her eyes. "Who did this?" Sage asked with squinted eyes. "Cause I'm sure this isn't a thing back at the kingdom. This is related to black magic." He frowned. "Yeah, it isn't a thing in our world since it's a spell." Morgana shrugged.
