Thank God Isis has a friend like Donnovan. Astrid looked at her again while they were walking. “I like your eyes. This is the first time for me to see an amber eyes up close. It’s like the color gold. They’re really pretty.” She just smiled. She got them from her father. “Astrid, stop staring at my baby.” She heard Isis say while trying to put his arm around Donnovan. “I know her eyes are very pretty but stop staring. She’ll feel uncomfortable! Even I don’t stare at her mesmerizing eyes.”

Their names are Amber and Isaac, they were already besties and I guess wanted to get to know me and I guess now with Margot it makes three. Amber is not your typical friend. With her dark skin which she inherited from her African father and Italian mother and olive eyes she could be a model but her attitude is the interesting part and Isaac seemed to notice that. In fact, they both look at each other a way friends don't look at each other. Perhaps something more and I understood that pretty quickly. Isaac may seem intimidating with his 6-foot figure, defined face structures, pale yet gorgeous skin tone and dark brown eyes but he looses all common sense when he is around Amber.

At least she was safe with the twins. I don't know how Damian pulled it off, but all of our children managed to take after him. My only shining moment was while the boys may be tiny versions of their father, they all had my eyes. Sienna was the only one that had Damian's eyes. But I couldn't be happier. Her eyes were so beautiful that they managed to mesmerize me every time I looked at them. They were similar to Damian's ocean blue eyes, just brighter. They reminded me of Zircon; a crystal that was such a magnificent blue with teal. Just like Zicron, her eyes were equally unique, as Zircon typically came in an amber or red hue. Preya fixed her inquiring gaze on me. Amber stood in the doorway leaning against the open door. She was 5’7 with blonde shoulder-length curly hair and arctic-blue eyes, complimented by her triangular face structure. In my world, it felt like everyone was taller than me. Anyway, she is Beta Dwayne’s daughter whom no one messes with, and also the second technology genius who just happens to be Simon’s mate. **POV Eleanor** "Done! I'm finished!" Amber smiled, satisfied as she saw the results of her work reflected in the mirror. "What do you think?" she asked, smiling, expecting me to give her some praise. Amber had lightly applied makeup to Alice, highlighting her beautiful light eyes. She made sure to apply a touch of purple eyeshadow under the lower eyelid to give the appearance of sleepless nights. Her red hair was lightly tousled and styled in a loose updo, giving a more natural look.

I cried. Emerald has hazel eyes and I have Amber eyes. Our eyes looked quite similar from afar but still so different. Emerald’s eyes contain specks of amber and gold while mine are of a solid gold hue. Still, my parents forced me to wear contact lenses. He said Daniel might have taken note of it. “Dear, you just have to put up with it for a while. It's nothing serious,” my mom said and dropped her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her again and shook my head. These people are so broken beyond repair. I am too.

I place my hand on her back, trying to soothe her. "It hurts." She mumbles in between sobs. I move some of the hair from her face and can feel that she's running warmer than usual. She looks up at me, and her eyes are glowing purple. I take in a sharp breath, not expecting her to be showing any signs of her powers developing, but I give her a small, reassuring smile.

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

“It’s a lot, yes. But don’t worry. Everyone who’s meant to be here finds their way, and you will, too. I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way.” Her calm confidence was oddly comforting, and I felt my shoulders relax a little. “Thank you, Lea. That… that really helps.” She then looked at me more closely, her gaze lingering on my eyes. “Pardon me, Miss Amelia, but your eyes… they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Purple, almost violet. It’s rare, you know.” I bit my lip, suddenly self-conscious. “Oh, I didn’t realize it was so unusual. Is there… some kind of story behind it?”
