A god Named Sin

A god Named Sin

Let her seek you first and the kingdom of heaven will be hers, let her find that peace she seeks. Sighing, she got out of bed and sat in front of her reading table, she took the holy book and flipped to a page in the beginning of Genesis and read, sighing again, she close the book and heave a sigh for the third time. Amari closed her eyes and clapped her palms together as she prayed. There was that relief that washed over her as she felt a pang of peace course through her body even though it lasted few minutes, she felt contented with it. The next morning she had woken up happy and energetic and not cranky, before her aunt came downstairs, Amari had done the dishes and cleaned the house, she

What is Living?

What is Living?

The first thing that welcome me when I woke up was his message. Chayim Neo: Good morning, hermosa. Isaiah 55:12, You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Start your day with a smile. I shut my eyes tightly, trying to calm myself. My heart is beating so fast! It’s just a good morning message and a bible verses but I look like a fool freaking out because of it. I inhaled sharply and rush into the bathroom when I saw the time.

Auri had the worst life, but I was happy to read that her mate did not really want to abandon her. I just wish in the end that she would have been put back together. Poor thing also we never talked about her family anymore and wanted to hear about her sisters mate thought for sure it would be Bryan

Only one site remained on the screen. Olalekan stood up and studied the web address on the screen. It was vaguely familiar. With furrowed eyebrows, he wondered where he had seen this before. The others studied this too. BIBLECHRONICLES.ORG Huh? “Isn’t this the website that owns that famous daily devotional app?” One of the Heads of Department said. “Indeed it is. My daughter uses it every day to conduct her bible reading.” Said another. “I don’t understand why this is here…”

The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

The white-capped waves that crashed along the jagged cliffs had lulled her to sleep each night, and the terrace where she read her devotionals in the mornings provided the perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexa had awoken with the sun each morning on their vacation. Jetlag and the changes in her schedule were distracting enough to send her stirring at an earlier hour than Salvatore, so she used the time to study Scripture. She and Salvatore had taken a few journeys into the nearby towns, and although they had no neighbors to observe, she knew the villages were waking with the dawn. Pulling her blanket tighter around her shoulders, she stared at the passage before her. Proverbs 28:13 re

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

“That’s wonderful; you could freshen up in the room you slept in. There is a spare toothbrush in the bathroom that you can use. When you are done, Ethan and I will be waiting for you in the kitchen.” “Alright, thank you,” I say and make my way back to the room. I brush my teeth with the spare toothbrush and also perform ablution to observe my morning prayers. I realize that I did not hear my Adhan this morning, and I wonder why. I pick up my phone and see it's dead. That’s why I didn’t hear it this morning. I am sure if my phone was not down, I would have woken up earlier to pray, and also find out where I was sooner. I am sure Khloe is worried sick about me; I would have to call her soon to

Meant To Be HIS

Meant To Be HIS

I decided to take a seat as I read through the first topic. "Let not your heart be troubled," I read the first line aloud, it was apparently a verse from the bible. Strangely enough I felt a sense of peace and was urged to read on. I read through the page and I don't know how but I found myself weeping. I picked up my phone and downloaded the bible app. I hadn't opened this in so long, I couldn't even remember the last time I went to church, except for a wedding. Crazy huh? "Babe?" I heard Damien's voice from the bedroom and quickly wiped my eyes clean of any trace of tears.

Really good follow on from the first book and I love how you have incorporated Christ in this book & their love story. As a growing Christian this was lovely to read, it didn’t have as much steam as the first book I can understand why but definitely drama filled.

i think this whole situation is all about perspective uk as i am a woman i can relate to Ariana b8 if i was a man i could have related to Damien...in all honesty i just love ur writing style i mean i literally feel like am having an actual conversation...And for a fact in the end it's love that wins

The Confession

The Confession

“I’ll help ya to your room.” Roslyn went to her room after helping David settled in his room; they skipped their usual night devotion because neither of them is in the right state of mind. David sat on the edge of his bed with the holy bible lying next to him; he wanted to read the scripture so badly, but he worried he wouldn’t know what exactly to read. The last time he’d read the scripture was fourteen years ago, when he was still a young teenager. David meticulously picked the bible and opened it page by page until he got to the book of Nahum 3:19. The scripture that has to do with healing, not just healing of the physical body but of the mind and heart. He read diligently so as not to mi

Frequently Asked Questions

Finding guides for American daily Bible reading can be a delightful journey! One of my favorite places to start is online, where a plethora of resources is at your fingertips. Websites like Bible Gateway and YouVersion offer daily reading plans that cater to various themes, lengths, and even specific versions of the Bible. I personally love the Reading Plans on YouVersion, where you can track your progress and share thoughts with friends. This social aspect adds a layer of community that really enhances the experience.

Additionally, exploring podcast options can be rewarding. Programs like 'The Bible for Normal People' provide engaging discussions that tie in closely with daily readings. Just imagine walking around with headphones in, soaking up insights while you’re on the go! Another great resource is the app called 'Dwell', which offers daily readings accompanied by beautifully soothing music; it really sets a calming atmosphere for reflection.

Of course, you can also find printed guides at your local bookstore or church. Many corner shops stock multiple versions, often with study guides that include daily reflections. If you’re into a more personal touch, joining a local Bible study group can be transformative. Not only do you get structured guidance, but the shared discussions allow for deeper insights and interpretations.

Each of these resources gives me a different angle of understanding, and they help enrich my daily experiences. It’s so fulfilling to see how many avenues there are to engage with scripture! Whether you prefer coming up with your own schedule or following a structured guide, the right resources can turn daily reading into something incredibly enriching and beautiful.
