I haven’t complained once, though, because she is doing this for me, and I appreciate it too much to huff and puff about it. I wonder if my mother will remember Arya. There is a good chance because, after the last summer at the cabin, I was miserable for weeks after it because I didn’t know when I would see my crush again. I couldn’t help but smile at the memories of the summer I spent with Arya. They were probably the best days of my childhood, and now she is mine. The world really is a funny thing at times. I just hope this weekend doesn’t change things between Arya and me because she will probably see a different side of me when I am around my family, especially my cousin and my ex.

How did it get there? Rain stared down at the rose she had found by her bedside the second the woke up. The scent drifting in the air and causing her to smile. It reminded her of her time in the cabin and Rain didn’t realize how much she missed waking up to the comforting scent of roses until this one was brought to her. Rain silently wondered with a smile, would they still let her go back to the cabin or did Alexander plan to have her stay in the mansion permanently?
