I smirked as I caught Jada doing the same, her phone in hand as she cozied up to a pair of women in identical sequin jumpers.
“Eighty bucks for a picture. Can you believe that?” She huffed, returning to our side minutes later.
Nox snorted, still looming over my shoulder. “That’s what they do. If I were you, I wouldn’t go approaching anyone else. You’ll be broke before you know it.”
I didn’t ask how Nox knew that, or if he’d ever visited Vegas before. His words were just a reminder that while I’d been locked away, beaten and tortured, he’d been out here living his life.
