It was then that Torelli’s red eyes betrayed him, they shone in the distance. Again, Jesse took after him in full blast. He timed his approach and fired his haunches. He flew through the air, aiming for the neck. But it was too strong to rip off. The two stared balefully at the other for a few seconds until Jake approached menacingly and stopped as well beside Jesse, snarling. ‘I shall fight, but not today’ the demon said, forming rapidly back to the priest’s form who fell flat. And then appeared on the horizon abound of black clouds drifting towards the alps. Bats!

“Donna Medici, I beg for your mercy…” I thought for a moment before saying, “The one who sinned was Victor. You’re just another victim of his. You may have disrespected me before, but now that you’ve repented, I’ve decided to show you some mercy. Now, get out and never appear before me again.” Sophia bowed her head in gratitude, scrambling as she fled the study. When she reached the gates of the estate, a sudden light burst into her eyes.

Finally bold enough, I asked, "Could you check?" The demon even jerked his head, then laughed. Have you ever heard a demon's laughter? Do you think it's scary? It's no scarier than a storm, or lighting, or a hurricane. It sounds wild, and furious, and mad, and fiery, yet oh so beautiful. The room suddenly became chilly. Smoke swirled in the corners of the pentagram, and Martha grew even paler. She was afraid I wouldn't be able to hold the demon back-or that I wouldn't be able to hold myself back from stepping toward him. I wasn't going to do that, however. I knew all too well you weren't supposed to trust demons.

Leviathan and I are pretty surprised too but if push comes to shove, I know we can both protect ourselves and dispose of these angels. “Who the fuck are you and why are you here?” Leviathan asked, crossing his arms, making him look more intimidating than usual—I could smell the angels’ fear reeking out of their body and it made me shiver. Fear, after all, is one of the devil’s fuel. “You are demons, we don’t answer to you.” The male with brown locks said as he tried to act brave by shielding the other two angels behind him. “This is our holy grounds made by purification, you are not allowed here.”

At first, the angel was hostile towards the demon that simply asked who she was he did not raise his sword or his shield, but the angel did, she tried to fight the demon at first but all he did was block it every time he made sure he did not hurt her because he did not want to. After a couple of hours, the angel grew tired and just gave up "who are you and why are you here!?" She finally said, but the demon only said "I was curious about the angels' side and didn't mean to intrude" after he explained he said he would leave, and the angel felt bad. Before the demon left the angel said that it would be ok if he came here to look but only at the rise of the moon, for that was her guarding hours

His breath hitched, and for a long moment, the night held them — two souls who had clawed their way through hell to find heaven in each other’s arms. And then he whispered, his voice low but sure: “Darkness. Demons. Damnation. That’s what I was made of once. which Tainted my Desires” “But I’ve learned something, Castelle… even tainted hearts can crave light. Even the damned can choose redemption.” Castelle’s eyes shimmered. “And the demons?” Kane smiled faintly, glancing down at their children sleeping soundly at her side. “The demons,” he said softly, “learned to bow to love.”

I appreciated, calming my own self down. I swear to God, in all these years of my life, I've never been this nervous. But it was all Angel's doing. Eversince Angel came into my life, my heart has developed this unusual habit of beating fast, uncontrollably fast. I feel like I'm surrounding by certain feelings that I'm unable to shake off me. Everytime Angel is near me, I feel calm; at peace. She my solace. The solution to all my problems. The shine in her beautiful glassy blue eyes always seem to draw me in like whirlpool of emotions that flows in her. Her captivating innocence make me possessive about. It attracts me; the more I stare at her, the more I fall.

Chapter 10: Confession ************ "If I got rid of my demons, I'd lose my angels." ************ |Verena| "I just saw him go into that building over there." I said excitedly. We'd been trailing Ethan's car ever since he'd left college. We were currently seated in Nate's truck outside the posh looking building Ethan had just walked into. "We'll wait till he gets back and then go check it out." Nate answered firmly. We sat in comfortable silence for a while, our eyes glued to the entrance of the building. Finally I turned to look at him.

prologue It was peaceful and wonderful in Angel’s empire, trumpets were singing, clouds were dancing and angels were peacefully resting but a sudden appearance of Kram, stopped their calm and peaceful empire. Kram, was the Archangel, highest above all angels. His wings were like billion of stars when it shines, too stunning that you couldn’t turn your eyes away, it was heavenliness that could warm one’s heart in just one glance.

We will send the demons back to where they belong, but first we will make them live in the torture we create for them. *** This is the end 😭 but there is more in Book 2, My Devil's side, which is seven years in the future and is the last and final book to this story.
