Angels Peaky Blinders Novels & Stories

The woman who had accused me of peeping on her, Rebecca Zangler, briefly stopped her crying before shrieking at the top of her lungs, "He's lying! He's just trying to weasel his way out of this! How could he possibly be blind? He's at the window every night, peeping on me! Those eyes… Those eyes…" She seemed to be trying to think of a way to describe my eyes, but the sight of them unnerved her so much that she couldn't find the words. All she could do was point a finger at me while her whole body shook. "Disgusting! He's just too disgusting!" Her shout caused the spectating neighbors to stir once more, and they began clamoring. "That's right! He must be pretending to be blind!" "Criminals no

He thought he heard the sound of the door opened and closed again but paid no heed to it as he took another sip of his drink with his eyes closed. Then perfume scents wafted in the air around him and he felt a feminine hand tug gently on his arm and made him lie on her soft chest. He tried to look up to see who she was but he couldn't make out her face as the room was darkened, his blurred sight not helping and she started murmuring light words of comfort as she loosened the buttons on his shirt. Too tired to care who the lady was and what she was doing, he resigned himself to his fate, imaging the woman to be His Angel but with a small thought at the back of his mind that her scent was not

My eyes traveled up at the sky which was now crystal clear, showing those twinkling stars as I was thinking thoroughly about my next step I am supposed to choose my mate before the next full moon which is in two weeks, before that incredible Red moon night. "Why you didn't tell me about Ahana's blindness?" I broke the silence and looked at him with a questionable gaze. His eyes turned wide as he just shook his head in disappointment and scoffed bitterly. "Are you even listening to yourself?" He met my darkened gaze and sighed, "We are supposed to talk about that weird attack by spirits and here you're whining childishly over why I didn't tell you that she's blind, like really?" There was a m

One of us laughs, and that causes a chain reaction, making the rest of us laugh with it, the sounds so deafening, it I were still human, my ears would be bleeding. Another spear flies towards the angel, this time at its eye, when an arrow shoots it down, making it fall downward. We watch as from the white mist light, angels, normal angels step out from the fog, glaring at us. They have their weapons drawn, and the War Angel flaps its wings tiredly, as the effects of Hell's Agony are still coursing through it. Other angels step in front of it, they're wings flapping, and looking so white, and angelic, something inside of me snaps.

I didn't raise my voice, but my cadence was clear and firm in this heavy silence. Turning to look at the police officers who'd gone still, I asked, "Now, officers, how would a blind person peep at anyone? He can't even tell day from night—how could he stand at a window, hold up a camera, and aim it at the bathroom across from his window to take photos?" One of the officers was stunned by my question, but he quickly snapped to his senses and gave me a grim nod. "From the looks of it, your son is indeed in the clear. A blind person can neither be a voyeur nor use a camera."

I froze in place, staring at the gleaming knife in his hand, its cold light reflecting off his filthy knuckles. His gaze fell on me, greedy and sickening, like a snake's tongue flicking. "Well, well, I didn't expect to find such a pretty young lady here." Marianne let out a heart-wrenching scream, "Don't touch her!" I clenched my teeth, fighting down the despair churning in my chest, and turned to whisper to my mother, "Mom, whatever happens next, don't interfere. "Move back. There's a trampoline outside the window that should cushion your fall.

She asked, her voice sounded strained and her lips quivered. "Hopefully" he rubbed her shoulder. "We just have to keep our fingers crossed" "Okay" she said and finally let go of him. *********** In Zephyr's office, the blinds in the window were closed and Zephyr sat in silence, sulking while drowning himself in bottles of alcohol. "Zephyr." Jake called him as he entered the room. "What do you want? Leave me alone." Zephyr said in a gruff voice. "You can't keep doing this to yourself. It's not your fault that Bellona is this way." Jake said as he walked to the window and opened up the blinds so light could penetrate the room.
