Animal Shapeshifter Novels & Stories

~~~ Amaya "Among the supernaturals, there are different types. Vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, witches, angels, demons and, elements. They all have different characteristics and abilities." Who would've thought that we had such creatures living among us? "The one who attacked you was a shapeshifter. They are known to be able to imitate any living form. They can change and impersonate any living being on this planet. They can be very dangerous. You might be having a normal conversation with your mom one day but it could be a shapeshifter and you wouldn't even know." As he spoke to me, a little piece of my memory from that night came back.
I didn’t want to listen, I could scent my mate, I knew it was her. The moment I touch her, her teeth sink into my wrist. There was a look of hunger in the brown eyes as she gripped on, pressing her teeth down to the bone. Other’s come out of the bushes, sinking their teeth into me as Freya looks on. The man who had been with the Rogue moves close to her, kissing her on the cheek. He thanks her for leading them to me. These were not wolves. These were shapeshifters. People that could shift into any creature they wanted. It meant that they had seen Lana, they could only shift into something they had seen. She was nearby.
Right now, we needed to clear Hunter's name. “I have never heard of a shapeshifter before, only in the books I read. The prophecies don't say anything about them.” “That's because they are extinct,” Dean answered. “Or supposed to be.” “What do you mean?” “Shapeshifters are like werewolves. The only difference between us and them is that we can only change into our werewolf forms and our human form, but shapeshifters can transform into anyone they choose, as well as other animals.”
"Is that not better than being a human and growing old? And incase you didn't know. Jet plan to stop shifting after the battle with the councils is over" He scratches the back of his head. "It is more complicated than that. The shape shifters were forced to turn, it was not something they wanted. Although when you are bitten, you do not take the shape you desire, you take the shape of something that reflects your personality, it might be a lioness, Jaguar, fox, and so on. You have met with the shape shifter right? Most of them died, if they cannot handle the pain of transforming, some also died in the process of becoming what they are. It is too much risk because it has a high chance of...."
Celeste whispered. Shadow stepped forward to meet one of the shapeshifters. "The resistance is actually the last surviving group of the first form of shapeshifters ever existed. They could blend themselves with nature and animals." He bowed to a woman with long white hair. Her skin was in the color of a tree trunk—as if her skin was made from the tree. People would have mistaken her as a tree from afar if they didn't see the long white hair behind her. Her dress was made from the leaves with no sign stitched together.
“What kind of shapeshifter are we talking about?” “They are human-like creatures that start human, but later learn how to change their form to look like anyone they want. When a shapeshifter takes the shape of the person they choose, they shed their skin, teeth, and nails. When they change into the person’s physical appearance, they access the thoughts of the person they are mimicking.” said Dark. “But mostly, it shows the opposite to those who know what they imitate. If what they imitate is a bad person, they will change it into a good person. ” “Okay, so what do you want us to do?” Kyra asked. “The shapeshifter needs to disappear,” said Dark. The hunters looked at what Dark had said.
Right in front of me. And this is why we kept our gifts secret. He was a true shapeshifter. Meaning he could shift into his wolf - yes - but he could also shift to other animals. Normally — at least from the stories — I didn’t know if he could turn into any and everything. But as I was standing there dumbfounded .. he shifted again. This time he turned into a huge hyena. He was taking wolves out left and right. They were probably in shock- just like me.
he said softly as if he was unsure about it. " Do you remember something unique about Daniel?" The senior warrior looked confused at first, and suddenly, it clicked. " Of course. He was a shapeshifter. He could change into any animal." " Exactly!!!" Adele exclaimed. " What?" Axel said and looked clearly inside the chamber. " I can see a fly." Adele nodded in agreement and looked at the fly. " You are exposed, Daniel, so I suggest you should shift back and talk," Adele warned.
Most eldest daughters were, but not me, I thought to myself. "This is Alaric. He represents the vampire clan!" She pointed at the first circle, meaning he was the first child. "Alaric is arrogant and bossy. He is the eldest, so, no doubt on that one!" Witch Anya continued. I just nodded while I was all ears for everything she was narrating. "Who are these?" I asked about the two circles that were next to Amira and me. "This is Collen. He is a shapeshifter and he represents the animals that have special abilities. He is gentle but with a dark side, too. He can conceal his feelings well for he can shift to different forms. He can even mimic someone's face if he wants!"
He didn't get the joke, but she seemed to think something was funny. "Oh my!" She said with a clap of her hands, which brought everyone's attention back to her again in strength. "Let's save some time, almost every predator has a shifter form. Some non-predator animals also exist, and there's also mimics that can change their form at will. That I'm giving away for free, remember my kindness."
