A Child of Another Story

A Child of Another Story

They left a decent neighborhood for a rundown apartment block. Word on the street was that Rhett got so sick he nearly did not make it, and Kelly aged a decade in a single night. They had once been the pride of the block, always bragging about their daughter’s big achievements. Then, they became the punchline of every neighbor’s joke. People whispered that I went too far, that I forgot old loyalties. In response, I would give a half-smile and stay mum. Did Sheila think of the sacrifices I made while she was off studying abroad on my dime? Did she spare a thought for the house I mortgaged or the plain dinners and crowded bus rides I endured?

Steel Soul Online

David had his fill of memes and dumb videos and was more interested in what was happening with the country. “You four do whatever you want, just try to not wander near the other worms.” He dismissed the creatures and started to read, an abnormal amount of disappearances occurred over the world in the past days, the majority of them in the USA and Japan. “Arianne would make so much money there if she was a north-American. Oh well, whatever, I should call her someday to drink, though.” He sighed and continued with other articles, a power station exploded on Cartagena two days ago, a murderer got arrested, the usual news overall.

The Phoenix Bride Rises: Trust Was Her First Mistake

The Phoenix Bride Rises: Trust Was Her First Mistake

It had not been like this in Country D. There, she had been relegated to observation rooms and ignored during conferences. Despite her published research, her status as a “foreign woman” had cast a long shadow over her credentials. Healing was not even possible then. No lives saved. No souls touched. Now, in Country N, she was blossoming, both as a mother and a miracle worker.

The Substitute Bride of the Mafia Tycoon

The Substitute Bride of the Mafia Tycoon

Ciara surrendered and tried her best to calm herself, even if she found it funny. “We just ramen because that is what I requested from him since the weather here in New Zealand is cold as hell!” Annalise exclaimed, then pouted her lips. “Oh! Zeno said that we’d be going to France next week, so he bought tons of clothes in the mall.” “That’s good! At least you will explore and find some places to include in your novel,” Ciara said. “Use your phone to capture everything that will catch your attention.” “That’s what I’m planning. I think New Zealand and France have tons of beautiful areas that will fit my novel’s plot,” she said. “Thanks for reminding me. I’ll hang up now, Ciara. We’ll be wande

The Calling

The Calling

He hands me the book and I look it over before opening it. “I think this will be of some help to you, I can help you with focus and direction.” I look at a few pages of the book, it has detailed accounts and explanations on how to fulfil different ‘desires’. It shows intricate symbols, circles and some of the symbols look like they are glowing. “What language is this?” Zylith asks and I look up at her. “What do you mean, it’s English.” Sure some of the words were difficult and new but Zylith was far from dull.

Poisonous Love (Serial Killer/Stockholm Syndrome Romance)

Poisonous Love (Serial Killer/Stockholm Syndrome Romance)

Well, it did, to me. Also, take into consideration, I might not be from the same country as you are and different places do different things. While I am writing this with characters who live in the United States of America, I, myself live in The United Kingdom, so I just wanted to make this clear. Only a few more chapters left! I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Also, going forward now, the book has completely new content. This means the original book DOESN’T have what happens next. It's new for everyone :) Happy Reading. ---------------------------------------

Crossing Borders

Crossing Borders

My body is so used to only going to bed at like three in the morning and wake up at seven that I know it’ll take forever to actually fall asleep. “I can get you a book or something to keep you busy?” he suggests and my face immediately lights up. He sees it and with a chuckle, he gets off of the bed. He leaves the room and a few moments’ later returns with an old battered copy of what looks like The Hunger Games. Fitting, both characters stuck in a place and being able to climb trees. “Hope it’s alright” Chase said, “Got it from Chevy. She’s obsessed” “It’s perfect, thank you” I said, putting the book down next to me. Chase leaves after telling me once more to not run away and then I’m left

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

The woman laughed, her beautiful red-hair flowing behind like before she vanished with her spoil of war. When their figures materialized outside of Country F, it was in a city to the west of Country J which was not in the jurisdiction of any King. As there was a difference in the time zones, the sun had yet to rise. The sky above was still as black as a diamond with no whatsoever celestial body illuminating the world underneath it.

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Country Z had clear rules that foreigners could only acquire the right to set up mines after getting citizenship in Country Z. “Country Z’s citizenship? How could a trashy country like this deserve a noble person like me?” The young man asked arrogantly. “Are you dreaming?” Xyla felt extremely annoyed by what he said. Suddenly, the patriotism in her was triggered. She really couldn’t understand from where this person found the courage to look down upon Country Z here. “How dare you insult Country Z like this? If this is a trashy place, why did you come? Are you hinting that you’re even worse than a piece of trash?” Xyla asked coldly.

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...
