Cahaya petir menghiasa angkasa lalu disusul oleh suara gemuruh guntur yang bersahut-sahutan. Tak lama kemudian hujan deras turun mengguyur bumi yang nestapa. Tangis sang bayi malang, La Mudu, tiba-tiba pecah. Suara tangisannya yang di tengah perkampungan senyap yang telah menjadi ladang pembantaian keji membuat perasaan Dato Hongli tersayat pilu. Jenderal Hongli atau Dato Hongli yang di negeri asalnya tenar dengan julukan Wu Ying Jianke (Pendekar Tanpa Bayangan) dari Nanjing segera meninggalkan bekas Desa Tanaru, bergerak ke arah barat derngan gerakan lari yang amat cepat.
