Right in the middle stood a giant glass orb full of thick, golden liquid—the same stuff June had seen swirling in her staff. “That’s the Source,” Sarah said quietly. She headed for one of the computer screens. “If we throw the black metal into the gold, the whole network collapses. We’ll shut down the CEO’s signal, but we’ll lose the magic for good. No more magic bread. No more miracles. Everything just...normal again.” June glanced at her arm. The black lines had crept to her shoulder. She could feel the CEO’s thoughts now—cold, greedy, endless. “If I destroy the magic, does everyone turn normal again?” June asked.

They were of gold and were carved gorgeously. "So are you ready? We are you teleportation to cross this gate otherwise it will take another day if we kept walking through." "I'm fine," Alexa replied to Alastor who got brighten up. "Well then!" He waves his right hand in air, a magical transparent mechanical clock like figure appeared, which had strange words written who only wizards can understand! Alastor holds Alexa by her waist and disappeared inside the magical circle. Rest of his campaigns did the same. And soon after a blink of second they were in completely different world. Alexa opened her eyes and looks around, all green and fresh. There were white horses gazing at the distant field

The three magic Knights Leaders went out of the portal and stood on the three chairs placed on the sides of the King’s chair. “And let’s welcome our Kingdom’s Magic Leader, King Magnus!” everyone rose from their seats to welcome the King. King Magnus is a fire mage, my father met with him once and I remembered that his aura is as tremendous as my father. He talked to me before and he was really kind but he’s aura is just so powerful that even though he showed kindness towards me, I still kept a distance.

Daisy hurriedly explained. "You're wasting my time. I think I have to do this." He said and I turned to face him 'cause I didn't understand what he wanted to do. Turning back to look at him, I inhaled some sort of powder and my thinking changed. "Will you follow me now?" Sage asked with a smile. "Yeah, sure." I answered and gasps filled the air. "Sage" Morgan roared. "You know black magic is forbidden in this kingdom. How dare you use it?"

Mia asked again, confused. I didn’t know how to tell her that next part; I thought she wouldn't believe me and might even call me crazy. So, I took a breath in, glanced her side and just blurted out: “he said that gypsy usually use dark magic on things for compelling and sorcery” “HA, WHAT?” she shouted back in shock. She looked at me with a horrified and pale face. She thought for a while and asked again with a hint of a mocking smile on her face: “what does it do?”

I didn’t expect the patch to come so soon. In the second month after the battle, the rooftop radio suddenly crackled to life with a crisp broadcast voice. "The Atlas Geothermal Initiative is now active. Surface temperatures will gradually recover. Rescue is on the way." Rhys and I just stared at each other. So this wasn’t a solo survival game after all. It was online, and the admins had finally logged in. A week later, a military helicopter landed in the open lot. Registration and verification went quickly. The officer in charge clapped me on the shoulder. "Turning the apocalypse into a warehouse operation! You’re one of a kind."

Evelyn opened her mouth. Nothing came out. What was she supposed to say? You abandoned me to die three months from now? Instead, as she asked quietly, “What time is it?” He blinked at the question. “Uh… almost seven.” Seven in the morning. Three months before the apocalypse. Outside the apartment window, traffic moved normally through wet streets. Somewhere downstairs, someone laughed. A car horn sounded faintly in the distance. The world hadn’t ended yet. But it would. Evelyn wrapped her arms tightly around herself.

I sneer, dragging her back to Anastasia and march right back into the fracas of magic. Magical lights of blue, green, purple, yellow, red, gold splash across the sky. It's actually really pretty. It's funny because the black magic coming from the Abyss isn't even half as powerful as ours is. They don't actually know how to use offensive magic. All they are able to do is put up weak shields that crumble moments later. I'd laugh... but now's not the time.

"Stupid girl! What are you doing! Stop it!" The demon disappears in the blink of an eye, but this spell isn't over yet! I close my eyes and scream as the bright light around me increases. I'm burning, feeling like I'm dying. Yet, I can do nothing to stop the fire from spreading. The walls around me crumble, and the entire sky turns entirely white from the magic oozing out from my skin. Somewhere in the sky, Lucy freezes upon seeing me, and I smile up at him before the demons surrounding him get eaten by flames.
