“I knew it. You’re so busy you’ve forgotten everything.” Hearing that, I racked my brain harder. “My birthday? No, that can’t be. Mine’s at the start of the year. I’m an Aries. “Yours? No, your birthday hasn’t come yet either. Then what is it? What other important dates are there? “Your mom’s birthday? No, that’s next week.” I blurted out a few guesses, all wrong. Well, to commemorate April 1st as April Fool's Day, I've planned something for the kids since it's also Saturday. As usual, everyone is here an hour before lunch. I prepared a dessert table especially for them; I whipped all the dessert myself since I baked a lot yesterday, knowing I'll be serving everybody's favorite. There are mini cupcakes for the small children, burned-cheesecake for Gen, chewy chocolate-chip cookies for Nate, butter cake for Melody, Nate's wife, and a lot more catering everybody's preference. I even made Honey's favorite which is red velvet cupcake with cream cheese.
