I could hear Arachane's low howl, she had been hit by a dark energy by Xorax, holding her crippled to the ground. Xorax smirked, unleashing a cruel laughter that echoed through the wild. "No, one can help you now, Lycan," she sneered. "You actually think you can face me enough to kill me and walk through that path? You think the heart is like slicing a venison in a plate and shoving down your throat—that easy? How daring?" Her hands pressed on my neck. "The first and last Lycan was lucky enough to never fall through because of the wretch's carelessness. But the nerves to have another like her come this long baffles me. Have you no fear?"

I turned to leave, but then I bumped into Akira a few steps away from the door. “I'm sorry…” she mumbled, trying to steady herself. For someone who just asked me to get some rest, she looked more tired than I. She had a wrinkle on her forehead, which for Akira was a crime. She hadn't noticed that and I'm sure it was because of how drained she was. But I needed her to do something else. “Can you perform a Transpositio Arcanum spell?” I asked. "The river pack had strange abilities that were connected to the water and the Luna; I heard she could heal with the smallest droplet of water," Arkane continued about my pack. All the Necromancers that came before us. This is the Manser's Grove." John lowered his hand still in awe. "I can feel the power here." He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "It's ancient, pure." He frowned, and looked up at me. "I've felt this before, around our own sacred items."

Ace mumbled making me giggle. shaking my head at him I walk towards his room. "what movie do you have in mind?" I asked him softly "I don't know just pick anything I don't mind." Ace replied before walking towards his bed. nodding my head, I scrolled through N*****x before stopping at Warrior Nun. "is this ok?" I asked before looking at Ace. only to find him shirtless, his head titled up as he tried catching his breath. "Ace?, is everything ok?" I asked softly walking towards him.

“It doesn’t matter.” I blink, caught off guard by his calm tone. “What do you mean, ‘it doesn’t matter’? We’re still missing crucial information.” Arkyn crosses his arms, a grim smile tugging at his lips. “Creed’s sending his witch, Nova. She’s already on her way. She’s dealt with this coven before and has some information that’s going to work in our favor.”

He strolled to the board, pausing mid-step to glance over the class. “This won’t be the class where you learn fireballs or teleportation,” he said. “If that’s what you want, you’re in the wrong room.” Silence. “Good. Because this is the class that will make you dangerous.” He turned back to the board and scrawled three words in elegant, sweeping letters: The Arcane Veins. Then, facing them again—his grin wicked, eyes alight with manic curiosity—he said, “Let’s begin with the source of all magic…”

“Let me see the arrow.” Gabriel turned towards the desk, picking up something wrapped up in newspapers. “Here, please be careful, do not touch it.” Xavier took the thing, unwrapping it, and finding just what he had been looking for; an arrow. It was silver, but halfway to the tip, the silver dispersed into a darkish blue. He brought it to his nose, scenting it out…blood, he could literally taste it and then there was this weird scent, kind of like vinegar, but stronger, heavier… It smelled as though it could kill him even if he didn't consume it.
