Are Novels Italicized Novels & Stories

So...There has been an issue with the formating that I use to differentiate between the chatracters talking out loud and when they are mindlinking. The mindlink should be bold and in italics, and while it looks like that in the author center and all of my views, it does not seem to be that way for your view as the readers. It is something that is being worked on. In the mean time I will place ' *** ' at the beginning and end of the mindlinked dialogue just so it makes sense for context.

Well I use this < > when people outside of the main characters are speaking or when there are background voices. I use this * * to indicate a thought. I hope you do understand. Thanks for choosing my book. It is well appreciated.

NB: Italic font is used for Flashbacks. Normal font represents the narration. Bold italics represents the characters thought.

Am I the only one that thinks reading a novel is like watching a movie but in your head? I love how writers describe things and make them so realistic.
