I shift slightly, hoping he takes the hint. He doesn’t.
“I’m Raferra” he says, leaning closer. His breath smells of whiskey and arrogance.
“And you are?”
“India.”
“India,” he repeats slowly, tasting the word like it’s dessert. “Exotic. Fitting.”
I swallow. “Excuse me, I…”
“Don’t rush off,” he says, moving closer again.
“It’s rare to meet someone so… delicious.”
His eyes are undressing me.
