It collapsed a bubble of pressure with a sharp pop, sending a shockwave rippling through the air. Jeric stumbled sideways, tentacles flailing as the concussive force knocked him off balance. He hissed, a wet, high-pitched chitter, then lunged low, all tentacles whipping forward. Meanwhile, Arah ducked and weaved as furniture and appliances hurtled toward her. She made sure not to let her guard down in case Jeric singled her out for a sneak attack. It was almost absurd how these two monsters could battle like this and not level the entire house in seconds.

For someone like Amaria -who isn't a mage like Teresa and Dove nor a mana using swordsman like Elex - she wouldn't stand a chance with a Horc, boost or no boost. Zachary swung his sword and sliced the body of the monsters in half. Ezekiel targeted the tongue of the monsters and his arrows pierced through the tongue and jaw of the monster. Maximo used his swords as he sliced vertically the monsters' heads. Arkin can feel that they are controlling their strength.

His sword flashed brightly, lighting the darkness and pushing the shadows back.
