As they all were frightened, covering their mouths, and were sweating heavily, the monster was walking slowly down in the middle of the street. "!!!" All of them were being careful not to make any movements that would cause loud noises that will likely attract the monster to them. But as the monster was passing by, a small kid, just sitting next to them and being quiet the whole time, accidentally got the bottle next to him to fall on the floor. Everyone was quiet for a moment. "Shit!" A loud bang coming from the outside was heard. They all thought the monster had noticed them, but when they looked outside the monster was laying on the ground with its head all gone.

That was my cue to finally leave, so I reached the edge and saw Bloom levitating above the ground, her red hair raised and her eyes white as her hands sent power through the dome. “What's going on?” I asked Gabrielle right away. “They're monsters, but not ordinary monsters; they're lethal,” my Beta said with genuine concern. “Whatever Greco did this time, it seems to be working.” Bloom shouted before sending a stronger burst of energy. Then I saw the dome become transparent, and I could finally see hundreds of monsters falling. They all had blood coming from their ears and noses. It was clear that Bloom had fried their brains to the point of quickly destroying them.

Gunfire filled the air while monster corpses piled up around them. The smell of decay was stronger than ever, thick enough to make an ordinary person sick. Yet neither of them seemed affected by it anymore. After spending so much time in the apocalypse, they had long grown accustomed to such things. Several minutes later, the final monster dropped to the ground. Silence returned. Or at least, that was what they thought. Suddenly.... Rumble! The ground beneath their feet began trembling violently. The unexpected vibration nearly caused both of them to lose their balance. "What the actual fuck?" Darren cursed under his breath as he steadied himself.

Then they heard the screams that made them leap, hurrying to the direction of the screams. He thought Vamoire is doing what he had expected, but he was wowed to see the monster. His eyes went searching for Maridelle. When he finally saw her afraid and threatened by the monster, Hodor ended its life in an instant. The monster’s body felt on the ground with a defeaning thud. “What had just happened?” Hodor asked. In sheer delight Vamoire approached him. “Its her blood’s doing. She feed that monsters and that happened.” She pointed the body. “ I cannot imagine what it could do further. I thinkn it is limitless.”

His screams reverberated across the corridor, and we heard the sound of flesh getting ripped off bones. That did not last long. Silence returned soon after. … We burst out of the center's entrance, but the sight that greeted us made us inhale sharply. We were surrounded by a swarm of zombies. Hundreds of them, by the looks of it. It was nigh impossible to reach our vehicle like this. Unless… "I'll distract them! You guys run when you see an opening!" Determined, I shoved the sample into my deputy's arms and told him to get that back to base safely.

It let out a loud roar and I suddenly realized why it's voice was like many dead warriors joined together. Lumps and bumps lined it's body and it's arms and legs were made of body parts of dead warriors that were conjoined together. It roared and I suddenly realized that the Lumos that were on it's body weren't just lumps, but faces of dead warriors. It was as if someone has picked up different dead warriors and moulded them into the large scary monster that was charging towards us right now. I knew that this was way above e so I turned and ran. I half expected Caleb to follow me but he just stood there with the sword and spear in his hands, waiting for the monster to come to him.

Her body started to transform, turning into an inhuman monster that was described by rumors as the “Mist Creeper” a being that could not be defeated with just blade and magic. The Mist Creeper was notorious for devouring adventurers and removing their sanity. But it was supposedly only rumors told by adventurers to look better or to give themselves something to boast about, up until they saw the real thing. Lyon felt shiver down his spine as the events seemed like it had happened right in front of him before, it was as if he was seeing a de javu.

I hold onto the handle for dear life as the monster thrashes. I twist the blade. Green slime sprays out. I dodge to the side, avoiding the corrosive splash. Below me, I can feel the axe handle melting from the acid.
