“Calm down. I showed you those visions for a reason. If I really were evil, why would I let you see the past?” Gabe merely snarled. Sarah let out a huff of exasperation. “What you saw was my younger sister. We are twins, born within minutes of each other. We both were born with the Earth Witch abilities but with vastly different levels of power. I am Syra, the Witch of Avalon. Sarah was born with lesser powers than I. Her thirst for power to match mine led her down a twisted path of greed and deception.” Syra took a step back, beckoning for us to follow her.

"Talking to the witch when you should be taking what she knows." Everything happened too fast. Draeven launched himself at the witch, his corrupted claws extended. She threw up a shield of shimmering light, but he tore through it like paper. I heard her scream as his claws raked across her side, saw blood spray black against the snow. "No!" I didn't know why I shouted it. Didn't know why my body moved before my mind caught up. I crashed into Draeven, sending us both sprawling. My warriors stood frozen, confused, caught between orders and instinct.

I am twenty-four years old, the half werewolf half witch spawn of Alpha Leith Ellis of the Blood Moon Rising pack and his mistress the Sorceress Lady Abigail Caluder of the Black Witch Mountain coven. When I was two years old, my father found his fated mate his now Luna, Luna Helena. My mother had bowed out gracefully, but they still remained close and acclaimble in raising me. I spent my childhood between my father's pack and my mother's coven.

Willow told her. "Damn, I guess Lily was right after all. That changes things." Dante mumbled beside her, shaking his head at her when she wanted to ask what he meant by that. "What else did Hecate say?" Miss J asked earnestly. "The spell used to release her spirit was an ancient demonic spell that no Witch knows about. I think if we can somehow find out what that spell was, we can find a way to reverse it." Willow's hands shook as she attempted to drink her tea, but Dante took the cup from her and instead grabbed her hands to help calm her down. She didn't feel frightened though. It felt as if she had an adrenaline shot sent through her entire body and its sending her into overdrive.

Helena stared blankly at the large pole fixed into the ground and shuddered at the barbaric act they were about to commit. She choked on a sob when she felt a stab of pain somewhere and tried to heal herself with the magic that caused this disaster. The magic that she had happily used to help Rigel conquer and destroy innocent packs, thinking it would make him love her and treat her like she was worth something to him.

Emerial said walking over to us. Najera left my side to help Aria. As I looked around, I noticed that all of the witches were drawn to Aria. Aria looked up, handed each witch something, and instructed them on what to do with it. She was every bit the Queen at that moment. The light witches focused on their spell while Najera, Nexus, Melody and Aria chanted while mixing the unbinding spell.

I honestly replied as I gave the rogue she had punched a piercing strike to take its spinal cord off its body. “Are you serious? Even while you’re at school, you never met anyone with a witch vibe before?” With a tone of disbelief, Isabella asked me making me roll my eyes. Spare me; I’ve been in darkness in those school days and had no time to check anyone but save myself from misery. “It’s okay if you don’t believe me. Only Ariel was the witch I knew, and she was more on healing and protection, not the clairvoyant one.” I coldly responded as I smashed another rogue’s head on the ground like a pulp.

Zephaniah handed her a token—a sign of his rank—to prove his word was iron. The assistant was stunned. Then, with a sudden flash of predatory resolve, she nodded. “I’ll do it!” Meanwhile, as the sun dipped behind the jagged peaks at 6pm, a scroll from Jordan Reed regarding Ariel’s history was unrolled on Connor’s heavy oak desk. The details were grim. “Alpha, this Ariel is a rogue in the making. She has been a bully since she first shifted; at just fourteen, she was driven out of her birth-pack for nearly killing a littermate. That is when she slunk into the city. She is nothing but trouble.”

Lucien stretched his legs out in front of me shrugging, “well you will be able to send me silent messages like earlier. You will be able to understand me even in my wolf form. If I’m ever hurt or in danger, you will sense it.” Glancing up I nodded, “so Aunt Violet could just understand you? Her witch’s blood made her different?” Lucien let out a breath, “yes and no. She could always understand us but it wasn’t always clear. It wasn’t until she found her mate that her ability to communicate with the pack become better.” “What?” I said confused. “I thought she lived alone.” Lucien grabbed my hand and started playing with it. “Her mate’s name was Albert and he died when she was 19.”
