“I heard the news. I assume this isn’t a social call.” “I need to disappear, Armin. Now.” There was a pause. “Cassius is still alive. At least for now.” “He is alive. His son…” I swallowed hard. “His son is hunting. I am the next target.” “Are you sure?” “He already killed Kessler. Sent a finger to Conrad. Destroyed my reputation and finances in a week.
