He was just standing in the sunlight, and Ravi squinted as he saw something gleaming in the man's hand. Ravi focused his vision further to ensure that the object the man held wasn't what he thought it was. The man's hand moved, still gazing, and Ravi's eyes widened when he could see clearly. Ravi froze, subconsciously gripping Raymond's wrist tightly. He saw a shimmering sword smeared with red liquid that was undoubtedly blood. But it didn't end there. Ravi froze further without realizing it, tightening his hold on Raymond's wrist as he observed the man's wings, which were white and almost identical to Raymond's. The armor makes it impossible for enemies to pick up their scent, is impenetrable, and can turn to a full coat of armor if they shift from human form to wolf form, and back again.

Armor sat on all the wolves, the inside made of soft silk but the outside made of silver. Eli started to carefully put some armor on me, my legs wobbled at the weight. Victoria gave me some of her strength so I could actually stand up straight. Eli shifted next to me I couldn't help but smile at my new height. Someone put the armor on him, his legs being able to take it with ease.

On the day of departure, the entire clan gathered near the main gate of the valley, standing in solemn silence. They did not cheer, they simply watched quietly as Rayden walked past them. Boom. A cloud of crimson mist and dissipating shadow where he’d stood. The force of the backlash knocked me back a step, a wave of profound weakness washing over me.
