I continued to kick at Galterio as I tried to shake myself free. “YOU ARE MINE!” he roared. His deep animalistic voice shook me to the core. He sounds like a demon. Galterio swiped his other arm up and dug his claws into the flesh of my thigh. I screamed in agony as we began to fall back to the ground. Somehow, Galterio managed to land on his feet first, and then rolled onto his back as I came down on top of him. He quickly rolled us over so that I was under him. His elongated snout and long sharp canines were mere millimetres from my face. A blob of drool dripped from his long fang and landed on my cheek as he growled at me.

Not only was he afraid, he was wet with guilt. “I had a bad dream overnight. I saw him.” Williams said. Mario's eyes widened. “He… he was angry. He was angry at me.” Williams dug his hands into his blonde hair. The he kept quiet, he couldn’t say no more. He wouldn’t say no more. Mario sprang up. “I know of a counselling organization. I'll do the registration. I’ll make use of a fake identity…if you want.” Of course, he wanted that. He wasn’t yet ready to reveal his identity.

I wanted to thank her, to say anything. The blade was still lodged in her abdomen. She pressed a hand against it, but blood slipped between her fingers. She didn’t cry out. I glanced a look at my living room which now represented a destroyed battlefield. The two guards were lying on the floor, lifeless, while Santo was sitting unconscious on one of my armchairs. Damn it I really liked that chair, couldn't he have put him somewhere else...

His pale lips stretched into a victorious smile as if he knew he had won the fight. Gallo raised his hand in the air, a second later he grew claws; now aiming to rip flesh. His claw dug into Izaac’s skin, he smiles as if he was tracing paper. He’s going to kill Izaac. No, this can’t be happening. “Izaac!” In one swift move, Gallo buried his claws deep into Izaac’s chest. Every scrape was fast and angry. It was hard to look at, it hurts to see.

Wondering who'd have such a name, I turned my head in time to see him walking into the ring. My heart dropped. Lucian. Jake's eyes flew to the ring. "Shit". He cursed. "Come on. Let's go". He tried pulling me but my feet were stuck to the spot. "Trust me. You don't want to see what's gonna happen". He said but I didn't register his words.

He said, and I smirked before letting out a low growl, calling for the hell hounds who I knew would be the one thing to defeat a death eater. The man frowned before I bit whatever it was that he was holding me with. My eyes turned into a deep shade of red as three doors opened, revealing the hellhounds who were summoned by my command. “What…?” “I, Alpha Arturo de’ Medici, last heir of my blood, summon the hellhounds to kill and drag you to the hell you truly belong in.” I said, glaring at the man whose eyes widened in surprise. “Now, any last words?”

The guards didn’t react fast enough. The second assassin pulled a blade—poisoned, I could smell it. I kicked, fought, did everything I could to stay on my feet. I wasn’t trained for this. My wolf howled inside me, but still refused to rise. Then someone tackled the assassin from behind. A warrior I didn’t recognize—possibly from a neutral pack. He fought them off, but the message was clear. They wanted me dead. “Enough!” Ryu’s roar shook the arena. His eyes were wild, glowing with rage.
