The Maid of the Handsome CEO

The Maid of the Handsome CEO

One day, you'll fall for my irresistible charm. I shook my head at my own ridiculous thoughts before getting to work. I prepared all the ingredients for the pork adobo. I washed the meat, sliced it into pieces, and gathered the seasonings. Since it was still early, I marinated the meat first to let the flavors soak in. I left it for about twenty minutes. Before that, I had already cooked the rice so everything would be ready at the same time. I put on my earbuds and played my favorite songs while cooking. Every now and then, I found myself singing along.

I love adobo. “Because it’s Nadya’s favorite, and also your favorite too.” Yeah, it is my favorite. *** “Mommy! Nikolai, my brother! I’m home.” I immediately looked at Nadya. “Nadya, come here! Let’s eat now.” I smiled at her. “What’s that--- woah is that adobo?” “Yeah, Mom and I cooked that, Nadya.” “Oh, I’ve been craving this. Thanks for the food Mom and also thanks, bro!”

Craving The Enemy

“I don’t know about celebrity. More like scapegoat.” “Still counts,” Gabriel said, pulling me into a hug. “You look tired, Ty.” “Wow, thanks.” “I mean it affectionately.” He ruffled my hair before turning to Mason. . Andrés appeared from the kitchen, smiling bright. “You’re just in time. I made adobo and garlic rice. Sit before it gets cold.” “Bless you,” I said dramatically, taking a seat. “You’re already my favorite in this family.” “Rude,” Gabriel muttered, sitting beside him.

Teach Me How To Love

Teach Me How To Love

Paul ordered one of the housemaids standing erect beside their gathering and ordered to bring bottles of champagne on a bucket full of ice. After he ordered it, the cooks went out again from the kitchen and cleared the plates. They were putting the main dishes for the night. Buttery and saucy dipped braised chicken on a pot, cooked pork in vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper with soy sauce called Adobo on one bowl topped with parsley, and an entire pig that was roasted over coals that were served with cinnamon-colored liver sauce. The "Lechon", as natives called it, was placed at the center of the table for attraction.

Awesome nd quite touching. Starting from the first chapter it builds up the curiosity like... "Hmm.. what's going on? what father did? Why these kids are discussing about him?" And with these questions you start digging deeper in the book. (Sorry Author will kill me if I spoil further.)

This is soooo great! I love the concept of the story on how Justin will meet Marian who will change his entire life and teach him how to love. I also love how the writer made the hero have a disability( discalculia) which made his character more effective ❤❤❤

My Second Chance And I Found Love In You

My Second Chance And I Found Love In You

Arrianne accepted the peeled shrimp, without much concern before replying. “Oh, it’s my Dad. Actually, my Dad was a Chef but my mother was not a good cook, and sometimes, when my father was having an overtime, we end up only eating instant noodles, or scrambled egg because that’s the only food that my mother can cook. So, Dad taught her to cook the simplest adobo recipe, at least my mother can cook one meat dish. You know, unlike the more robust soy sauce or fish sauce, salt has a more mellow taste and does not distract from the garlicky-vinegary flavors. Adobong puti is easy to make with simple pantry ingredients.” “Yeah, right” Michelle nodded in agreement but with a resigned and helpless

Then her father’s brows lifted slightly, impressed. “Well,” he said, a hint of amusement in his voice, “this I have to see.” The dining table was already set by the time they stepped into the kitchen. Nothing extravagant. Nothing overwhelming. Just… thoughtful. A pot of Chicken Adobo sat at the center, the rich, savory aroma filling the air—soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves. Beside it was a neatly arranged plate of Pancit Canton, the noodles glistening under the warm kitchen light, dotted with vegetables and slices of meat.

After ten minutes, he served it on the table. “What’s this?” I asked out of curiosity. I’ve never seen such a recipe before. “It’s called adobo. It’s a Filipino dish,” he replied. I sat down and tasted it. “Hmm… it tastes good. Who taught you this?” “Someone used to cook me this dish when everything was not falling apart,” he said and swallowed a spoonful with rice. “Who’s that someone? I bet it was Stinger,” I teased. “It’s a person who shall not be named.”

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

Notorious Mafia King Is My Boss (English Ver.)

"Aren't you going to eat dinner? I made it; it just doesn't taste right, hehe." "I'll eat later. I'm just going to rest for a while. What did you cook?" I asked him weakly. "Ahh... According to what I read on Gudle, it's called marinated chicken. I was so tempted by the color so I made it, but I don't know what's the taste." "What kind of adobo do you cook?" "I just followed the procedure. But I just made one mistake." "What?" "Instead of salt, I put sugar, it turned out to be sugar. It's the same as white, so I thought it was salt."

Never ever after(English version)

“Put the pork in a large bowl. But first, cut it into pieces—not too small, just about this size.” “What’s next?” “After putting the meat in, add the chopped garlic and onion, then soy sauce, a bit of vinegar. Next, crush some pepper, add a little MSG, and a bit of sugar.” “All done.” “That’s ready to go. Put it in the pan so we can start cooking.” “Done.” “Now we just wait for it to cook, Ma’am.” After a few minutes, the adobo was ready. Jennifer was the first to taste it. “It’s delicious! You’re so good at teaching, Samantha. Gabriel will love this.”
