“You are right, Clara! The constellation Orion was inspired from Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology. They say Orion was the only lover of Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the hunt. Artemis had a distaste for men, except Orion. Only Orion was accidentally killed by her.” “What? That sounds quite tragic,” I told him. I might not be a fan of mythology gods, mostly because I do not believe it is true but it sounds to me that Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the hunt has quite a sad story. “Yes. I can not imagine being able to love someone then accidentally doing something bad to them,” Gavin said as he looked at me.

“Alpha, Valerian would like to come and check up on Luna. Is that alright with you?” Jax asked with a hopeful look on his face. I smiled and nodded before turning my attention back on Artemis’s sleeping face. She reminded me of those angels in the paintings I have seen many times. So beautiful and perfect. Moon Goddess, you really blessed me with someone so perfect. I thought to myself. A few moments later there was a knock on the door. Jax stood up and opened the door then moved away wearing a huge smile. Valerian walked in and looked over at Artemis.

I picked up the final sacrifice; a lamb bone wrapped in cedar bark and leaves and placed it inside the bowl of moon water at the centre of the Dias. “Great Goddess Artemis, the Goddess of the hunt and the moon, sister of the Sun God,” I called out to the Goddess. “Give us your strength, mighty Goddess. Your children need your blessing. Give us the strength to bring back peace to our land and defeat the intruders who kill without mercy. Hail Goddess Artemis.” “Hail Goddess Artemis.” The Maidens and I bowed low to the ground, to gather strength and honor the Goddess…and then we rose as one unit. Warriors of Artemis.

Kian hugs his papa. "Okay, they're here let's start before it gets flooded here." Kaios said when the other deities arrived. Kian's parents stand with Kōri and Feu. Kaios, Selene and Leluna stand up to greet the newcomers. The other deities who arrived are Asili, the deity of the four elements. Water, fire, earth, and wind. Galax, the deity of the stars and time. Lastly, the Sun deity which is also the king of the deities and Leluna's brother, Ijus. Kian and Kaleb are overwhelmed with their presence.

I slowly sat on the white sand and watched the lady still standing to where I left her. I am waiting anxiously by the shore. Did my plan work? Christ! This is killing me. My heart is pounding really fast! I couldn't stand waiting for her like this! I swear I was praying then, she moved towards the seashore, towards me. Thank God! I did it! What a relief! She stood directly in front of me. I raised my head to face her and with that I smirked. " What can I do for you, goddess?” Oh yes! It's true! She's a beauty! She must be Venus if she was ever real. "Oh, shut up! Stop making fun of me will you?!" she mumbled pouting her lips like a baby before sitting right beside me. I could feel my heart

To the Romans, he was recognized as Neptunus or Neptune. Ares was the Greek god of war and possibly the most unpopular of all the Olympian gods due to the fact of his speedy temper, aggressiveness, and unquenchable thirst for conflict. Artemis was the Greek goddess of hunting, wild nature, and chastity. The daughter of Zeus and sister of Apollo, Artemis used to be considered as a customer of female and young women and a protectress for the duration of childbirth.

“You had a choice. For the first few months that she came back without a memory of you, I feared for the day you would come barging into this forest, demanding that we return her to you… Staking your claim that she was your fated mate. If you did that, you would forfeit the gift of life that Selene and Artemis bestowed upon her. I feared that your longing for her would be the cause of us eternally losing her. But you kept your word… And in return, you gave us more time with her.” Artemis was the Goddess of the forest and the faes, just as Selene was the Goddess of the moon and the wolves. “I didn’t know she would be taken away if I broke my oath with Selene.” “She chose not to tell you as pa

Hera said softly, her voice almost lost in the music. "Not just power and glory, but connection and care, work and wonder, love shared freely between all beings, great and small." Artemis rode ahead, her deer moving with effortless grace as she scanned the road ahead – not for danger, but for the beauty that lay hidden in every shadow and sunlit clearing. Hermes skipped alongside them, occasionally darting ahead to explore a bend in the road or investigate an interesting-looking tree, always returning with stories to share and treasures to show.

“Fine, Luna Samiya. I am sorry.” “What I do with my time is none of your business, so please quickly relay your message and be on your way,” I stated matter-of-factly, as my mind wandered back to the founder’s diary. If I were Helene’s reincarnation, then Zain had to be Artemis the first’s reincarnation. Maybe that was why the goddess didn’t allow us to be mates in this life. Maybe it was because Artemis had used up all of his luck in making sure that he and I came back, and so she decided to take something back from both of us.

Not even Eva herself. Because I know her secret. Not the secret of her creation, or her curse, or the prophecies that follow her like vultures. I know her—the truth no one else remembers. Her name. Her real name. Artemis. The Moon Goddess spoke it once, when Eva’s soul was first forged in the space between dusk and dawn. She whispered it into the bones of the executioner and sealed it behind layers of silence. And I—only I—was allowed to hear it.
