The gesture was so tender, so quintessentially Oscar, that it nearly undid me. "What did you do?" he asked, his tone a mixture of curiosity and concern. It smelled like incense, the aroma rich and complex, with notes of sandalwood and myrrh. My eyes slowly fell on her tattooed arms, my curiosity piqued. The tattoos weren't the usual ones, at least not a pattern I knew, consisting mostly of letters and Cyrillic-like characters that seemed to dance across her skin. I found myself drawn to the tattoos, wondering what story they told and what secrets they held. My question was, why so many? Almost seventy percent of her upper body was covered in it. "You are looking at my arms?" Lyanna raised them up. "These, are the words of our Goddess and ancient scriptures. You know of our Goddess right? The one that created us?"

I stroked Hades' hair as he slept soundly in my arms. "Don't worry, Baby... We'll find your mom..." I said softly to my son. But Artemis really knows what she's doing. She didn't even really show herself to us. But maybe I know her too much now. She won't just easily give up our son. She probably got cornered to the point that she needed someone to protect our son. Fuck it. If I just knew that she was pregnant, I would have restricted her even more even though she hated me.
