A couple of moments later, Ruckus and his dad were now seared in the throne room. His father, the alpha had his throne lifted a little bit while his seat as the heir apparent was just a bit lower than that of his father . This was a common practice in their land that shows the hierarchy that existed even among the royal families. Right now, the both of them were occupying their seats before a large crowd of people. The throne was built in such a way that it could accommodate the entire assembly of the small wolf community.

"Seriously?" "Yes. I don't know what Ayesha told you about my marriage into her family, but it was mostly to keep the throne from passing to her father's brother and second in line. The throne can only pass to his heir if there is a prospective grand-heir for it to pass to. So, as Gavin died without us having...children, the crown is still in play. Without Ayesha marrying and bearing a child before the time comes to vacate the throne, the crown would pass to her uncle even if she bears a child after that time." "Forty years on the throne is all they are allowed. To keep the crown in the family, whoever is next in line within the family has to have a child of their own that the crown can pass

This means, even though he is a senior member of the royal family, he cannot take the throne unless his father, his brother, or his brother’s future sons will pass away. The senior members are members of the family who are the direct descendant of the Queen and is straightly connected to the crown and are privileged to ascend the throne someday. They are automatically given titles upon the birth of the oldest son of the reigning monarch. Princess Lany, the Queen’s only daughter was with them too, with her husband and their son. he ordered at once. As he walked into the large room which was well lit up, the men on both sides of the table rose up and they all stood still as he walked to the King chair in the middle of the table. "Today, a new King is ascending the throne. He has proven to be a man of vigor, a very courageous man, immortal in nature and highly referred to as the Special one. He is the man after the people's hearts. And today, he is taking over the leadership that has been entrusted into his hands.

"For a thousand years." Adelaide looked back at him. "What happens now?" He joined her beside the throne, his expression becoming gently solemn. "Now..." His fingertips rested lightly upon one of the ancient arms. "I explain how a Queen becomes more than a woman wearing a crown." He looked at her. "The throne recognises blood." She frowned slightly. "My blood?" "Our blood." His voice remained calm, measured. "When the Sovereign ascends, her blood is joined with that of the Emberborn people."

The car drove slowly toward the bustling, sinful heart of New Haven. It was an empire that belonged entirely to me. I raised my right hand, wearing the ring of power. Looking at my cold reflection in the window, I curved my lips. A man’s love is worthless. Only absolute power never betrays.

And if I'm not mistaken, it got to a point that the king began avoiding you. So, if my guess is right, you actually did not have an idea of what the king was up to. Moreover, you're not the kid's relative, so what right do you think you have to become the king?” When I asked this, they all fell silent. I believe they didn't think properly about this before coming to me. “Alpha Stark, if we should obey the rules of ascension to the throne. It is said that it is only when the king has an heir, that the throne will remain with the king. I

"We have been guarding this throne for thousands of years. Now that you are here, and now that you have unlocked the scepter, it is time for you to take your rightful place.” She gestured for Caitlin to ascend the throne. Caitlin looked back at her, shocked. What right did she, a simple girl, have to ascend such a regal throne—a throne that had been sat on by kings and queens for thousands of years? She didn't feel right going anywhere near it, much less ascending its huge pedestal and sitting on it. "Please," prodded the vampire. "You are entitled. You are The One.” Caleb nodded at her, and Caitlin slowly, reluctantly, climbed up on the huge pedestal, carrying the scepter. When she reached

I took my time to process what he said. “What?” I was shocked, “Why?” I shook my head, “Did you say ascend the throne?!” I looked at Egon in horror and he looked back at me with a frown. “Yes,” The king replied. “I can’t ascend the throne.” I rejected the idea. “Ulrich-”

Following his awestruck figure didn’t bore me, even Jessica’s nonstop commentary amused me. She had a list of activities for Zayden as a consort, but her speech in my mom’s courtyard shook the ground below my feet. “Prince Edith will inherit this throne after seventy to seventy-five years.
