"Don't you dare close your eyes, Aradaa! Stay with me!" Kaelor’s voice ripped through the howling wind, a jagged snarl that barely carried over the shriek of the digital storm. He lunged through snow that reached his waist, his boots sinking into the frozen slush. His arms were iron bands around Aradaa’s limp frame. Ice matted Kaelor’s fur, turning his heavy shoulders into jagged white peaks.

Winter chanted,low, steady, foreign words rolling off her tongue, curling in the air, frost and lightning answering them: “Thalara vesmir… krystin falen… orsara vindel… shivra lonthar…” Walls of jagged ice erupted around allies, shields forming from the ground beneath their feet, spikes shooting outward as hybrids lunged. Asher darted in from the right, wolf form sleek, fur glinting under the moonlight. He barreled into a hybrid, teeth sinking into its shoulder, claws raking its throat. Aria followed,small but ferocious, claws slashing, biting, making her presence known.

The former Alpha sat straight, face set in lines of iron resolve. Damien mounted a massive black stallion with white socks, then reached down for Ashley. She swung up behind him, arms around his waist, cheek pressed to his back. The bond flared with shared warmth, steadying her nerves. The gates opened. They rode out in formation, two columns with Damien and Ashley at the head, Clara and Gideon close behind. The snow crunched under hooves. The path wound upward through pine forest, then opened onto the long bare ridge that marked the northern border. Wind struck them hard here, carrying the bite of glaciers far to the north. Ashley pulled her cloak tighter.

"My iron crampon is loose! The strap's frozen solid!" "Hold on, let me see it," I rasped, turning back and dropping my slouch for two seconds to help him kneel in the snow. I pulled out my boot knife, using the flat edge to scrape the blue ice off his brass buckle until the latch clicked shut. "There. Stop dragging your heels, Ash, or Franz is gonna make us carry the heavy wood logs back." "I hate snow," Ashton whimpered, adjusting his fogged-up glasses with a shivering hand. "I grew up near the southern bays. We had sand. Sand doesn't make your nose bleed."

A slight smile creeped on my face. Flash back “ Commander Robins, I secured the target, obtained the answers we were looking for. I don’t think the target is of much use to us anymore. It looks as though he is touch and go. I had to use extreme measures to get the answers we sought. He was tight lipped for a while. The primary target is located in the middle of the Arctic, held up on one of the water rigs used for aquamarine sciences. He stated that the target has about 20 armed guards. 3 that follows him wherever he goes. We had schematics of the rig right here, sir.”

He wanted to know what lies Cherry was hiding. At 01:00 a.m., the sound of a car whooshing up to Langit't ears. He's still sitting quietly. A few minutes later, a thump of sneak footsteps opened the door. Cherry was entering the house with a slow, very slow step. She puposely took off her high heels so she wouldn't wake Langit up. The swiched off room lamp made Cherry a little difficult, he turned on the cell phone flashlight to help her walk. As she would turn to the room, the light swiched on. Cherry was surprised finding Langit behind her with a cold, cold look.

When he was completely naked, his bones started cracking and he soon stood tall in his huge black wolf with piercing golden eyes. Shift. He mind linked me. I took off my clothes, teasing him slightly, and he let out a warning growl. I smirked while I continued and shifted into my wolf. Snow is completely white and huge. I was about 6 ft. in my wolf form but Alex still towered me by a few inches. His wolf was beautiful, screaming power and the aura he was giving off clearly showed that he is someone not to be messed around with. His wolf's name is Aaron, Snow told me.

She tells him, pointing to the trunk of the car. “Yes, m'lady.” Andy teases her as he goes to do as she told him. "Anything you say, m'lady." She shakes her head and chuckles. Lacey gathers her purse and slings it over her arm, before she gets out of the car to go around the vehicle to wake up the kids. When she steps into the snow, she is surprised to find that it comes up to just above her ankle. Beneath the fresh, powdery snow is a layer of crunchy ice, that her shoe is resting against. One wrong move and she would be on her bottom in a heart beat.

Ashley asked when he put the boots in front of her, gesturing for her to wear them. "In my line of work, I get all these stuff pretty easily for free. I checked your foot size the other day. It's seven, right?" He gazed up at her while his hand helped her wear the boots. Ashley just nodded. 'Look how charming he was, putting shoes on my feet like I'm in some kind of Cinderella story,' her mind couldn't stop praising how gentlemanly Ashton was whenever she had a chance. She knew he worked in the fashion industry after Flora and the stylish team from his company came today. But until now she still didn't know what position he held inside the company.

The grass is like stain, as I join him, letting it crept up my bare legs. "All your feelings here, as a mortal, are heightened. Everything will feel softer, harder, taste nicer, and repulsive. Right now Aspen has a few dampers on your emotions, to help with how you cope. At least that's what I assume he's up to. Remember, they never consulted me with any of this," Asher grumbles, looking out over the cliff. "My heart bleeds for you," I mutter sarcastically. Asher shakes his head at me, his eyes blazing. "I see your attitude hasn't been hindered at all. Unfortunate."
