He probably only reads grim nonfiction or pretentious realistic fiction. There’s no way he’s touched something that unhinged.” Jade only hummed, unconvinced, draping another miniskirt over her arm. God—how many skirts could one person possibly need?

They were built by the first covenants—ashbound covenants—after an ashbound girl ended a war by burning the wrong king.” My skin went cold. “That’s a story.” Vesper smiled. “No, Aria. That’s a warning with a date.” She lifted her hand and touched the air near my wrist. She didn’t touch me, but the mark flared anyway, responding. I winced. “Hybrid,” Vesper said softly, as if tasting the word. “Wolf and ashbound. Not Luna. Not Lycan royalty. Something older.” Kieran’s voice went rough. “She’s my mate.”

Narrator- Alpha Asher casually gathered Miranda's limp form in his arms, along with her fallen keys and purse. Her head naturally leaned against his chest, and the moment her hair grazed against Asher's skin, he gladly breathed in a whiff of her natural scent. She smelled like sweet ripe oranges in the summer. Asher smiled and crossed the street, towards his SUV. He walked around the passenger side only to stop in his tracks when he noticed Joshua standing against the door with his arms crossed and a knowing smirk on his lips.

"A he’s a cat shifter", Violet finished looking at the Lycans to further place emphasis on her words. “This is outrageous!” roared a whiskered Lycan. "We cannot let this happen" and he threw Hermione a look of deepest dislike.

After resigning from my job, I no longer had to waste time learning computer science, which I had no interest in. In college, I majored in jewelry design after all. Claire scoffed and went about her business. Ashley got out of bed and moved to her reading table. She brought out her books from her backpack. The door creaked and Annabelle strolled in. She had gone to the library to study. "Just in time" Claire thought. "Hey Anna, pull of my shoes" She ordered. "Seriously!" Ashley thought.
