All types and shapes, colors, and beings frighteningly gained their way to the middle of the bridge. Yielding swords, axes, bows, snapping jaws and even some two horned goat looking guy! This was my first time ever seeing demons since Bahm had started allowing me in. IT WAS A HORROR!!! I was frozen in fear. Bahm suddenly throws me to the farthest end away from him and stands in front of my body, trying to perform a spell.

He chuckled, burying his face in my neck. “You’d think she’d have learned something from living with one for months now.” I sent my elbow into his side, but he didn’t so much as wince. “She hasn’t. Said demon has been preventing her from learning about demons.” “The books aren’t accurate. They even spelled my name wrong.”

Amaya flipped open the book, pensively opening it to a page where there was a crude image of the same demon I’d seen carved into the cave in Texas. “I think this prophecy might give us a clue,” Amaya whispered, pointing to the page with the demon depicted on it. "It talks about the dark witch." “This entire book is full of prophecies,” I countered. “It is…but these two seem to be related,” Amaya mused, suddenly flipping the page to another prophecy that depicted an angel holding a burning torch. I leaned over, reading the page about the dark witch. The August witch with heart of darkest night, Who rises under blood moon’s light,

“Young man, don’t get cocky. Do you think this is the end of it? “You have no idea who you’ve offended. “The people behind this would make sure you meet the end of your life!” He was still threatening me, but I was no longer afraid. I had already opened the pandora box. I was able to deal with whatever monsters that leaped out from it. “Take him away!” Peter gestured with his hands and Greg was dragged out like a dead dog. Mary collapsed onto the floor in a daze. Charlie was still crying for more milk. I touched the bandage on my neck.

Asher watched the memory unfold as if it were happening right before his eyes. He narrowed his eyes, focused on the dark figure with the massive wings. "Who the hell is this?" he asked Damir internally. "That's Morgana, a high-ranking demon from the Abyss," Damir replied. A beat of silence. "This Abyss," Asher said, his tone shifting. "Where exactly is it?"

That was a real set-up! My scouts were my people, my subjects, and of course that jerk didn’t touch them. And so, that was what they saw: a small demon, a grey-skinned, tailed creature, had been riding another demon. Then he had summoned an entire host of demons, and they went to slaughter the Tevarrian army. I could barely hold back curses, but still managed to get more details. Apparently, everything wasn’t as bad as it seemed. They had noticed Ak-kvir and I when we knocked out the sentries and had decided to follow us.

This is Book Two of the Demonic Angels Trilogy, this book will not make sense unless you read ‘Alpha’s Fallen Angel’ first. Thank you guys for reading and for all the support! Aylin is by far my favorite character of mine, so I’ve been looking forward to this book for quite awhile! Enjoy :)
