He cleared his throat slightly and looked at his kids. I apologize if it took me a while to post the final chapters. As you know, endings are always bittersweet, but that's the final chapter of this book. Next novel in this series would be Kai and Berenice's story. You'll see more of Klaus and Rylee in that book as it unfolds, the twins and Rylee's dad. I'm still in the middle of putting the story together but I hope to have it signed before this month ends. The title of Kai and Berenice's story is My Gangster Babysitter. I'll be updating the progress of the plotting in my socmed accounts.

Close enough she felt the warmth radiating off him. Elisa gasped dramatically, like she’d just witnessed someone cancel Christmas. “Wait…hold on,” she squealed, rushing forward in her sparkly heels. “You’re leaving? Already?? Sky, that is literally so lame.” Sky’s head whipped around. “Excuse me?” Elisa folded her arms, hip popping out with Olympic-level smugness. “You just got here. And you’re gonna dip because your babysitter got a little messy?”

“Acting without ever thinking about the consequences.” “May I hold her?” Elizabeth asked softly. “Of course,” the woman said, gently placing the sleeping baby into her arms. “There are four babies here,” the caretaker explained. “This one is two months old. The one in the crib is seven months, and the one crawling over there is also seven months. The oldest is about a year old.” Elizabeth looked at each of the babies one by one—their frail little bodies, their pale faces. Her heart ached. “We have six toddlers as well,” the caretaker continued. “The rest of the children are already in school.”
