Novel Sang Putri Sahabat Dari Surga merupakan kisah semasa sekolah dasar si penulis. Terlebih penulis dedikasikan untuk semua sahabat dan guru yang sudah membimbing hingga menjadi sekarang. Tepatnya, setelah pindah dari sekolah lama ke sekolah baru yang di dekat rumah. Saat itu, baru kelas 4, penulis mengenal sosok sahabat cowok bernama Wanto yang memiliki kesan tersendiri. Namun, menginjak kelas 5, Wanto meninggalkan tanah Jawa dan menetap di Sulawesi Tenggara. Wanto merupakan sahabat yang sangat perhatian. Mungkin satu-satunya teman cowok yang baik. Setelah kepergian Wanto, penulis memiliki dua sahabat perempuan yang bernama Ayu dan Halimah. Ayu merupakan anak yang sabar dan menyukai make up, sekaligus seorang non muslim yang taat juga menyukai bahasa Inggris. Sedangkan Halimah seorang muslim yang sedikit tomboy dengan potongan rambut pendek. Dalam perjalanan belajar di kelas 5, sosok pengajar yang hangat akan selamanya terkenang. Beliau bernama Pak Kasim yang tiba-tiba memilih pindah tempat mengajar. Kami sekelas merasa kehilangan. Hingga akhirnya memberikan nyanyian terakhir diiringi tangisan histeris. Menjelang pulang sekolah, beliau mengucapkan kata perpisahan. Hal itu membuat salah satu teman bernama Efi memberikan sepucuk surat kepada Pak Kasim. Sepanjang mengayuh sepeda menuju rumah masing-masing, kami masih saja menangis. Suatu ketika, menjelang kenaikan kelas. Sekolah mengadakan liburan ke beberapa obyek wisata Yogyakarta. Di sana, penulis mengalami beberapa hal aneh yang tidak masuk akal. Seperti di situs Candi Borobudur, Museum Kyai Langgeng, dan terakhir Museum Ronggowarsito. Bab selanjutnya, Ayu, Halimah, dan penulis bertenngkar saling menendang satu sama lain di belakang sekolah. Teman-teman yang lain tentu saja bersorak sorai menyemangati kami untuk beradu kekuatan. Hingga, sebuah kalimat meluncur dari mulut Halimah cukup mencengangkan,

Daaaarrr ! Lagi-lagi suara petir, biarpun aku nggak terlonjak seperti tadi tapi cukup bikin hati lumayan ngenes. Dengan kecepatan siput seperti ini jam berapa aku akan sampai Jakarta. Aku mendesah sedih, desahan yang sia-sia karena cuman aku sendiri yang tahu. Bruukkk ! Aku kaget lima kepalang. Aku menabrak sesuatu? Pheeeww…aku menarik nafas lega, minimal dia bisa berbicara, coba kalau dia ternyata tidak bisa berbicara dan aku tidak tahu menahu bahasa isyarat bagaimana kita akan berkomunikasi coba? “Bandung….” Jawabku ragu-ragu, aku tidak yakin apa maksud pertanyaan dia dengan “tempat apa ini”, apa maksudnya kita di mana? Aku yakin sih aku belum meninggalkan bandung. “Bandung? Apa itu nama desa?” Hah…dia tidak tau Bandung? Mati gue, jangan-jangan tabrakan tandi membuat dia gegar otak. Sekarang dia mengalami amnesia dan tidak tahu siapa dirinya, tidak tahu apapun! Terus apa yang harus aku lakukan? Tiba-tiba aku ingat film Jason Bourne, dimana dia mengalami amnesia setelah tertembak dan jatuh ke laut. Tetapi lelaki ini bukan Jason Bourne, tapi dari postur badan dan wajahnya bisa saja lho dia menjadi the next Jason Bourne. Aarrrgghhh gue ngelantur lagi. “Mas ingat namanya siapa?” ok, pertanyaan basic untuk memastikan apakah dia amnesia atau bukan. “Gajah Mada” jawabnya singkat. Aku dengan refleks menyunggingkan senyum kecil, pasti emak bapak si emas ini adalah fans berat patih maha tersohor dari Majapahit tersebut. “Kenapa kamu tersenyum?” tanyanya membuyarkan lamunanku.
