Bakugan Battle Brawlers Masquerade Novels & Stories

Edward sighed as he accepted the fact that he had to explain his identity when Andrea burst out in tears. "My head hurts so much and I feel so cold. Everyone hates me…" Andrea cried as she held her head. Edward used this time to wear his masquerade mask before walking towards her. "Stay calm and go take your bath. I called a doctor to take care of you." He said as he sat beside her. *What's the use of wearing the mask when she already saw your face?* He asked himself, but disregarded it to focus on persuading her to take her bath.

The pack view always give me some kind of relief as his pack was rated the best in their Kingdom. Tristan, his most loyal guard and also his right hand joined him on the rooftop and stood beside him. " Don't let the thought of your mate bother you your highness, I'm sure you will meet her when the moon goddess want" Tristan said "I'm not worried about when to meet her but I'm more worried about who she will be. Is she going to be a princess? Or she is gonna be a beta? Will she like me with this mask or will she reject me? I fear rejection more than anything as I don't wanna die as a lonely alpha. Mum said she will be the one to remove this mask, what if she is a witch? Or a vampire? How woul

"Because tomorrow night, the Ball opens. And when it opens, the Matron will try to move the Fragment of the Void. She knows you're hunting. She'll want it somewhere she can control. Somewhere public. Somewhere surrounded by witnesses." "The masquerade." I said. Mason nodded. "The mask you wear won't just hide your face, Lumira. It'll hide the shard she plans to plant on you. The Frame. She's going to accuse you of theft. Of dark magic. Of everything she's done herself." I closed my notebook. The sketch of the dress suddenly made sense. Midnight blue. The color of strategy. Of patience. Of the blade that waits for the right moment. "Then we take it first." I said.

A daring slit shows all the way up to my hip, The gown is strapless, designed to hug my figure snugly and enhance my natural curves. My face has a matching silver mask, equally radiant in its shimmering glory. It's designed, with delicate patterns etched into the metallic surface. Tiny silver and transparent beads are scattered across the mask, glinting like stars against the velvet night. A few feathers are elegantly arranged along the edges, adding a beautiful touch to the ensemble. Michal then continues “Babe, I wanted to talk to you before we head to the ball. Just a few rules for your safety is all.”

I muttered, leaning closer so he could hear me over the buzz of the crowd, “Reagan doesn’t even know the names of half these people.” He smirked, his gaze sweeping the room. “Everyone’s wearing a mask.” “It’s a masquerade party, I think.” I spotted a nearby table stacked with ornate masks, clearly intended for anyone who needed one. I grabbed two and turned to Blaze, holding one out to him. “Here. Let’s blend in.” I slipped my mask on—a delicate, silver piece adorned with tiny crystals—and gestured for Blaze to do the same. He took his time, studying his black and gold mask like it was some kind of alien artifact before finally putting it on.

When I’m done braiding my hair, my arms are sore, but the long blonde wig slips on effortlessly. I give myself a small as I look in the mirror, this was my alter ego, and I called her Dekara, a name I made up as I played around with my middle name, Adelaide. After spraying myself with anti-scent spray, I finished my look by winding my powers up so tightly inside myself one would think I was merely human, sliding my silver masquerade-style mask on and securing my dagger to my thigh. My mask covered only the top half of my face with intricate swirls that led to the shape of a lotus on my forehead, enough to hide any telltale features. Satisfied, I portal myself outside the castle grounds.

My mother has been working in Casanova for a long time, and if they can ensure her safety, then they can surely ensure mine too. "Alright.. I'll do it." My grip on Mama V's hand turned firm. "Just tell me what I have to do." Mama V gave me a small, sad nod. "You have your mother's spirit. We start tomorrow. Welcome to the family, Aurelia." =====☆☆☆☆☆===== It feels like a nightmare, but as I looked at myself in the mirror, the reflection that stares back at me said otherwise. The white masquerade mask covered half of my face, the white bodice sparkling from the embedded crystals, and the short flowy white mini skirt told me that I look like a dream.

CHAPTER ELEVEN “Amara, you forgot about this.” Amethyst handed me a mask. The mask would only cover half of the wearer’s face, including the forehead and the area surrounding the eyes. It was a masquerade mask. It was shaped like those butterfly wings. It was crafted from silver, with crystal beads designed at its corners and a black sun with four rays at the upper center. It has a lace at both ends. “Who owns it?” Amethyst asked curiously.

The tailor has listened to our exchange, and he disappears for a few moments before returning with everything Zayden described. ‘I hear it’s a masquerade ball?’ he smiles. ‘It is indeed. Do you have masks?’ I ask him. ‘Yes, I have masks,’ he says as he retrieves a bundle for us to look through. I choose a black mask that covers all of my forehead and my nose. It covers enough of my face that no one will be able to recognize me. Zayden comes out of another room to show us his outfit. He looks amazing. ‘Alright. We will take those, and he will need boots,’ I say, looking at his bare feet.

Also, the way he smelled. I stiffened. That scent. I knew that scent. It was him. Or at least, it smelled like him. The man from that night. The one who had haunted my thoughts ever since. Why does this giant smell so much like the stranger from that night but looks nothing like him? “If you give her to me,” the masked man continued, “I will marry her tonight and take her to my kingdom.” His kingdom? I couldn’t hold in my gasp. What the hell was happening? One second, I was being humiliated beyond belief, and now some masked giant wanted to claim me?
