"Erica's cookies are ready. You'd better come out and get one before they're all gone." Taren scoffed. "And you didn't bring me one? What's wrong with you?" he teased, rising from his seat. "Well, it looks like I'd better get one before you heathens eat them all."

Holly admitted. "You're named after a plant common at Christmas, and yet I sense no Christmas spirit." Santa huffed. "I was named after god." she corrected. "Ah, Holy?" he asked. The blonde just nodded. "But you share a name, doesn't that mean something?" he asked. Holly heaved a sigh. "I decorated my home with my sister and friends," she began. "I helped build a snowman, made lots of sweets, and I'm making everyone Christmas jumpers." Holly turned to him, greeny-brown eyes bright with newfound vigor.

I asked him but he laughs. “Person nor fit play with you. Take care man.” He said as he moved towards the dance floor while I moved to the bar, I started a tab for Victor and settled in with a tumbler of vodka, and turned to watch the crowd. That was when I saw her. The girl in a red top and black jeans. What drew my attention to her was the annoyance on her face but what kept it was the rest of her body. I thought Tomi shape was sinful, this girl shape was the meaning of that word and based on her dressing she knew it too. She was well covered but it still didn’t hide her. When she stomped to seat at the opposite end of the bar area, I signaled a waiter.

I question as I bring out a bar of chocolate and starts nibbling it. “You don't remember him?” I shake my head. “Remember the bonfire where we first met?” I nod my head again as I chew on the chocolate to let her know that I am following her. “The guy that conducted the game ‘Name the tune’, he is the one who is hosting this barbecue party”. “Oh yes, now I remember. He is the one who called Anna beautiful”. Andrea chips in and snatches the half-eaten chocolate from me. I just let her because I can not even finish it.

Serendipity nodded, tearing her eyes away from the structure at last and smiling into those familiar green ones. As Corey led her inside, they were instantly greeted by dozens of working elves, each of whom called out, “Merry Christmas!” which Serendipity would have found rather odd considering Christmas was over months ago were she not standing in Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. Instead, she answered with a jolly, “Merry Christmas!” in return. She noticed, and found it rather odd, that though Corey always acknowledged the speaker, he only chose to say, “Hello,” or “Good evening,” in response, never “Merry Christmas.”

Vexana Jones made sure everyone noticed the luxury watch on her wrist. Cassandra Carter talked about her wealthy husband, who doted on her. Rebecca Jenkins sat there in black-rimmed glasses with the bookish air of a math teacher. They weren't just showing off. They also kept finding ways to get my number. After all, no one expected that the girl who used to be nothing, the girl with that blunt bob haircut back then, would show up driving a Rolls-Royce.

What followed was Christmas morning chaos Charlotte opening presents with the enthusiasm of someone who’d been personally deprived, James watching from Seraphine’s lap with wide eyed confusion, wrapping paper everywhere, the particular joy and exhaustion of young children experiencing Christmas. “MAMA! DADA! Look what Santa brought!” Charlotte held up the large dollhouse she’d been requesting for months. “It’s PERFECT! Santa knows EVERYTHING!” “Santa is very observant,” Damien agreed, already starting to assemble the dollhouse which had approximately four thousand small pieces.

Charlie screeched in alarm, disbelief laced in his voice, handing me his work tab. Warm light brown eyes staring into mine, knocking the air out of me for a moment. The red dress she wore highlighted her smooth chestnut skin with her warm undertones. Her hair was packed in a messy French bun on top of her head, two tendrils framing her perfect face. Images of the two of us sprawled on my bed in California flitting across my mind, I felt something shift inside of me. Something primal. “ Xavier.” Charlie called, the amusement in his voice breaking into my line of thought.

The walls were painted in soft pink and lavender, with beautiful hand-painted murals that looked like scenes from fairy tales. But what really made Lucia gasp was the life-sized Barbie mural that covered one entire wall. It wasn't just any Barbie, it was from her favorite movie, "Barbie and the Island Princess," complete with tropical flowers and beautiful island scenery. "Oh my goodness!" Lucia squealed, running to touch the wall. "It's Barbie! It's really her!" "Do you like it, baby girl?" Clarisse asked, though the answer was obvious from Lucia's face. "I love it so much Mummy!" Lucia said dramatically, pressing her hands to her heart in a way that made both her parents laugh.

The simplicity of the materials juxtaposed with the captivating ambience created by fairy lights evokes a charming allure. Though appreciative of her fort-building prowess, a part of me questions the choice. While I'm content to indulge her desires, a fleeting thought of the theater crosses my mind. After all, it would offer a different and perhaps more conventional setting for our movie night. “The setup is nice.” I compliment her taking it all in again “Yes, we’re going to watch Barbie today, and tomorrow we will watch Little Mermaid; we’ll watch it by the pool.
